Trail. It has three unique barns, a groom’s cottage and a bridal cottage. For this Vermont style Royal Wedding, the bride got up at 4 a.m. As the sun came up, she went to the bridal cottage and with her maid of honor and best friend watched Princess Megan as she was getting out of her Rolls Royce, about to marry her Prince Charming. Soon it would be time for this Doylestown Bride to marry her very own Prince Charming. Even though there were torrential rains in Doylestown, a pocket of sunshine hovered over Central Vermont, providentially until the very last outdoor photo was taken. Even though the bride was disappointed it rained at all, the rain made for some really romantic umbrella pictures, taken near a 1930s’ Ford truck with a Doylestown directional sign in the background. The ceremony, which was officiated by the couple’s dearest friend, took place in the Red Barn in front of 140 guests. During the ceremony Ranee played two songs on the piano for the groom. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed cheese, scrumptious hors d'oeuvres such as shrimp and beef skewers, butternut arancini balls, mini cheeseburgers and fried artichoke with aioli sauce. All this while being entertained by an acoustic guitarist. After the cocktail hour, the guests were shuttled over to the Brown Barn, which was decorated with gorgeous floral arrangements, lanterns, chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceiling and 1000 lit tea light candles. Table names were named after the Edwin’s favorite Black Diamond trails. A New York City renowned Chef, who moved to Vermont with his wife, are the preferred caterers for Riverside Farm Weddings, and peo-

ple are still talking about the delicious and expertly prepared buffet provided. Winter Wonderland was the theme for the wedding cake and dessert table, that included a snowflake embossed three story cake, matching sugar cookies and cupcakes, made by a local baker. And a Vermont Wedding wouldn’t be complete without a Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Bar, accompanied with all the toppings made by the bride’s sister. A parade of sparklers sent off the couple, and guests grabbed their authentic maple syrup favor and traveled to the local snowmobile tavern, and danced the night away while having, you guessed it, more food. This how Doylestown royalty gets married in Vermont. O
