Cedar Rapids Little Library | Spring 2021

In collaboration with Nolan Sullivan, Madison Cardenas, Tim Zhang, and Thomas Hewitt

After the Iowa Derecho, we reached out to the cedar rapids community to offer our assistance. We found a homeowner looking to set up a little library that would engage the surrounding community by providing books to read! Our design includes two storage cubbies, one lower for kids’ books and the second higher for adult books. This provides an inclusive way of attracting all ages within the community. The homeowners were passionate about gardening, so we incorporated planters as the roof of the little library.

Wearables Set Design | Spring 2021

In collaboration with Roman Chikerinets, Ryan Piloni, and Aaron Koopal

The columns used for the College of Design Fashion Show set were designed to be assembled and dissembled for the yearly show. For the design, we decided to use bent wires that would rotate around a central axis and create a dynamic with the indents of the bent wire. Ten individual wires would come together to create one column using 3D printed attachments.
