Year 10 Highlights There have been some amazing opportunities since the start of Year 10. The feisty and argumentative members of the year have embraced the opportunities of ‘in house’ debating enrichment and MUN, giving the chance to publicly challenge and demolish the opposition. Attendance at the LFAMUN also gave insight into the workings of the United Nations and a chance to form new friends. Many of the Year 10s are ‘walking the boards’ and are busy preparing for the School Play ‘Aladdin’. Recognition to Jailan (Jaffar), Menna (Gana), Farah (Ginie) and Jude M (sound and light engineer) for their enthusiasm and encouraging the younger cast to aim high. Get ready to buy your ticket. The reality of IGCSEs has also hit home. The increased demand in homework and pressure of forthcoming mock exams is already making some feel stressed.
