Copi is a White-ish impurity in opal from the Lightning Ridge area. I have not seen it happen myself but I believe that it can grow inside the stone and destroy the color. Cobweb. Stringy cobweb like inclusions that take away from the quality of the stone

Fire Opal. I’ve heard different definitions for this term. Some say that it must be red and fire-like, but depending on where you come from, the term is often applied to just any brilliant opal with a fiery look to it, whether it’s red, blue, yellow, orange or green. I suppose, when you look at real fire, you often see all those colors in it.
