Thank you, Ruthann Petzinger! Our first month of “Ask a Diabetes Expert” was a resounding success! Ruthann will be back in our center in the SHIIP office on Wednesdays in February from 9am-12pm. Drop in and ask her your questions! Congratulations to our own Rita Sanders on getting a service dog. Rita is pictured right with David Laughlin with Leader Dogs for the Blind in Michigan. David came down to complete Rita’s training with her new dog, Joplyn. Come by and meet her soon!

BINGO in Shallotte was a HUGE hit in January! Be sure to sign up ahead of time for this trip on February 4th. The van leaves Southport at 12pm. $7 only to play all games. More cards are available for purchase, so take a little extra cash!
