D Der UV Schutzfaktor ist ein Maß für die Schutzwirkung der verschiedenen Stoffe. Hierbei gibt es zahlreiche Ähnlichkeiten zum bekannten SPF System für Sonnencremes. Stoffe mit einem UV Schutzfaktor von 50 lassen nur 1/50 der Strahlung durch, d.h. daß 98% der UV Strahlen blockiert wird.
