1081 A Fine and Rare Charleston Federal Rice Bed Charleston, South Carolina, 1800-1815, made of rich, dense mahogany, boldly carved, turned and reeded posts with "rice" motifs interspersed with leafy stems, drapery, leaves, and fluted details, set on reeded urns, on tapered front legs with spade feet, tapered head posts, molded canopy frame, figured mahogany headboard, mahogany rails, 97-3/4 x 89-1/2 x 85 in.
