Doctors also recommend a proper Lyme disease diet to the patient. The antibiotics are given to patients in two ways: orally and intravenously. Orally- Oral antibiotics are very common. Generally, doctors prescribe oral antibiotics to normal patients. The patients need to intake antibiotics orally.

Intravenously- The doctors may prescribe giving antibiotics intravenously (directly to the veins) to the patient when they find the link of the central nervous system with the disease.
