Brookwood School District 167 2020-2021 School Year At the Board of Education Meeting on 8/10/20, the School Board approved our reopening plan that will include the following:

Full Remote Learning for the First Quarter of the School Year --(revisited towards the end of the quarter for continuation/extension or to implement a plan to return students back to school safely i.e. hybrid model/blended model, full inperson instruction. A Remote Learning Advisory Committee will meet weekly to monitor the implementation of this model, i.e. student engagement, consistency in instructional practices across the district, communications, transitional planning for returning students back to school, outreach services, SEL supports, etc.)

School Remote Learning Space Options for Parents/students with Required Precautions-- a school safe space for remote learning (not inperson instruction) in the event a parent needs to utilize this option. An individual plan will be developed between the school/Principal and the parent with mandatory precautions outlined and signed agreements (safety precautions based on CDC, IDPH, ISBE along with self certification and temperature checks daily)

IEP/EL Services Options for On-Site Delivery and/or Remotely -on an individual basis with parent collaboration (with mandatory safety precautions based on CDC, IDPH, ISBE guidelines along with self certification and temperature checks daily)

Staff Report On-Site (using mandatory safety precautions based on CDC, IDPH, ISBE guidelines) staff will facilitate instruction from school daily. Staff (district-wide staff or contracted service providers) will be expected to submit a self-certification of wellness related to the COVID symptoms every morning of in-person work. This will be completed prior to the start of school.
Our plan includes following the mandatory protocols provided by ISBE and the Illinois Department of Public Health. The following protocols will ensure that no one is at risk and will be safe in our schools: • • •
Require use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including face coverings; Prohibit more than 50 individuals from gathering in one space; Require social distancing be observed, as much as possible;
