The May meeting is on Wednesday, 3rd at 10:00 am. in Clubhouse room D. Our meeting will continue to implement this year's plans for recruitment and preparations for the upcoming hurricane season. We will also be deciding our summer meetings.

Hand-watering and micro-irrigation (drip irrigation) of non-lawn landscape (such as flowerbeds, vegetable gardens, etc.) may be done any day and time as necessary

You may water new plant material, including sod for up to 60 days after the plants are installed.

Brookridge CERT needs YOU! We want you to join our Brookridge CERT team of volunteers. Training, materials, and supplies are free to volunteers through the Hernando County Emergency Operations Center and FEMA. Training includes lessons in preparation, survival, and rescue techniques in crisis situations. We learn to take care of ourselves first, family next, and then our neighbours and community.

Each year we have enjoyed relatively safe weather. We need to make sure we are prepared in case of the worst. CERT prepares us for other situations as well. Remember that disasters come from many different sources. Get prepared, join CERT now Help us to keep our neighbourhood safe.

On May 2nd 2023, at 6PM at our BCPO Clubhouse, we will be attending a presentation to support "senior" Big Brothers Big Sisters. We are looking to have our great "senior" adult's (right here in Brookridge) offer just 8 hours a month to "mentor" a child.
