Helping Handsby Marge Roloff CRAFTY STITCHERS

We are a non- profit sewing group supporting many local charities and our community. We happily accept fabric donations, cotton, flannel, and fleece. We also accept batting for quilts. Also accept gently used sheets and pillowcases.

Helping Hands meets every Thursday from 9-11:30 am in room D at the clubhouse. We supply everything you need to do our projects.

We’re looking for a few experienced adults who desire part-time to full-time seasonal work. We are Cat 5 Hurricane Screens, LLC. We manufacture fabric-style hurricane screens that meet and exceed Florida code.

Our goal is to build the world’s best hurricane screens here in Brooksville, Florida with your help!

Requirements for the jobs available are to be able to sew using our commercial sewing machines, read a tape measure and accurately cut fabric. We’ll train you on all the finer points of making our products.

We’re looking for adults who have work experience and want to work. We offer great pay, a flexible schedule, and an air-conditioned shop, and all the tools you’ll need for the job.

CA Hurricane Screens

Same name but we have changed the day and time of our weekly meeting. We meet on Wednesday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in room D at the clubhouse. The only exception to our meetings is... the 1st Wednesday of each month when there will be no meeting.

We have had some new interests of individuals dropping by to see what we are up to. Several men and women are bringing their sewing machines to work on projects. Others are either laying out quilts for quilting or some are knitting and/or crocheting enjoying the comradery. Any craft is welcome here. We have a supply room and many individuals willing to help teach and/or help with any of your projects if you are in need.

Bring a sack lunch if you wish. We provide coffee for those who may desire refreshment.

We accept donations of any kind. Please drop off on Wednesday at our meeting time. If you would like to join our group, we would love to have u join. There is no membership fee.
