Help SAVE a life!!!

I hope you all survived the cold weather we had and hopefully we are on our way to some nicer weather. It has been a busy time for Brookridge. Greg Schubert and John Lukeivic retired from Code Enforcement. Our thanks and best wishes go out to them as they move into another faze of their lives.
The gates are now completely operable. Please remember that there will be maintenance on this as on the other gates. DSX is now installed. Gate/Sentry is going well and will be adding more upgrades as needed. I'm sure you are all aware of the lengthy delay is getting our new software up and running. Quick/base hopefully it will be operational soon. Please remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.
We have put new speed signs at the gates so everyone entering can see them and know what our speeds are. I believe everyone can read so it should help reduce the speeding. Thanks to Billy for his hard work.
I cannot praise the staff enough:
•The Administration Staff: It goes without saying they are great people and work hard for Brookridge.
•The Club House: Thank you all. (Thanks for the coffee). Without them we would not have a clubhouse.
•Code Enforcement: They work hard to keep our community safe. They adjusted to the new Gate/Sentry without a word.
•Public Works: What would we do without them? Our community looks beautiful and three men take care of this huge property. They do a lot of repairs in-house thus saving Brookridge a lot of money.
As you are aware, this is probably my last letter to the News & Views as your President. It has not been easy to do the job I was elected for, mainly to do the best I could for Brookridge. The board I had so much hope for was disappointing. There were 5 member who had sat on boards before and, I thought, knew their obligations, but I surely was disappointed. They each had their own agendas, and it was not for Brookridge. I have been called derogatory names and criticized at private meetings. Texts were sent to me calling me names. (These were from some of the board members). I thought the residents were critical at times, but they did not compare to this board. I am ashamed that I presided over such discontent. Throughout the year there was one member I could depend on and this was his first year on a board. What happened to acting and thinking like adults? We live in a beautiful community and residents tear it down by their words and actions. I wish the new incoming board members success in their endeavors to continue making Brookridge a great place to live. All in all, it has been my pleasure to serve the residents as President of Brookridge. Thank you to those who supported me during my tenure as president.
Peace, love and charity.
