Cyprus-Russian Festival
The Festival is a great tradition. Every year more than 10,000 people gather at Limassol’s Molos Promenade to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus. More than 550 actors, dancers and singers from both countries take part in a non-stop 8-hour concert program.

President of the Republic of Cyprus, Ambassadors, Ministers, Mayors, Members of Parliament and Municipal Councils, official delegations from Russia). Speeches, Award presentation, TV and photo sessions 19.40-21.00 VIP reception for members of the official delegations 19.40-21.30 Gala Concert 21.30-23.00 Performance by a famous Russian group or singer (previously: Dima Bilan, Mumiy Troll, ExBB, Shpilki, Natasha Koroleva, Reflex, Anita Tsoy) 23.00 Fireworks
Russian community of Cyprus
There are about 50,000 Russian-speakers residing in Cyprus. More than 500,000 tourists from CIS countries visit Cyprus every year. The Festival has already become a very important part of the community’s life. The success of the Festival is the result of excellent organisational experience and a well-prepared program that uniquely combines official and entertainment elements. Please contact organisers to share your ideas. We welcome new participants and supporters every year; it is the perfect opportunity for us to improve the Festival.
Address to the VII Cyprus-Russian Festival
It is a great pleasure for me to address a greeting to the Cyprus-Russian Festival. Allow me to congratulate the organisers for this celebration of culture and to express my wish that with every year the Festival will be even more successful. Cyprus and Russia have a very strong, deep bond, and such events celebrate and enhance these ties. They promote friendship between the citizens of Cyprus and Russia. I wish to convey my warmest greetings to all the participants and the organisers of the Festival, and to assure you that we will continue working towards further enhancing our excellent relations. Address to the VII Cyprus-Russian Festival
On behalf of the Embassy of the Russian Federation I am glad to greet the participants and guests of the Cyprus Russian Festival. Every year this Festival brings together thousands of people of various nationalities. The importance of such events cannot be overestimated. They give us an excellent opportunity to introduce Russia's history, culture and traditions to Cyprus. At the same time guests of the island have an opportunity to take a closer look at the versatility of the Cypriot culture, get to know about the long history of multi-faceted contacts between Russia and Cyprus. The Festival is a worthy contribution to the strengthening of the traditionally friendly Cyprus-Russian cultural ties. Vyacheslav D. It is with a great pleasure that I welcome the Cyprus-Russian Festival and I also address my warm welcome to all those participating in it. I congratulate the tireless organisers and mainly Mrs. Natalia Kardash and I thank the sponsors and supporters of this event. I thank particularly the Moscow Government for supporting this festival firmly. I consider that this political and cultural institution is significantly important. The steady and excellent relations between Cyprus and Russia are, therefore, highlighted, while the rich tradition and artistic creation by the peoples of the Russian Federation are also promoted indeed.
