The Saint Xavier University Tour Saint Xavier University was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1846. SXU is made up of many different buildings varying from different majors, resident’s halls, and places to eat. The resident’s halls consist of Pacelli (single rooms), Regina (all freshman dorm), McCarthy, O’Brien, Morris, and Rubloff. We have the Academic Warde where many classes are for students with any major. The Graham building is directed more towards students studying business.
We also have the VAC which is our Art & Design building for majors in that area. Our dining all is located in the Warde along with a coffee shop. Our Shannon Center is the athletic building consisting of our gyms, and Cougar Fuel which is another place to eat. That is also connected to our bookstore. We have a plethora of places to eat including Rhubarbs, Starbucks, and Gilhooley’s.
