California Superbike School goes green

Kawasaki UK has announced that the California Superbike School has chosen to go “Team Green” with a fleet of brand-new Kawasakis for both instructor and hire bikes.

Since its launch in 1980, the training school has helped over 130,000 riders worldwide enhance their track skills. For 2021, customers will now be able to hire a range of Kawasaki machinery, from the Ninja 650 to the ZX-10R.

The school has various dates on offer across the summer, taking in some of the most famous circuits in the UK, including Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Cadwell Park.

Ross Burridge, head of the marketing and racing department at Kawasaki UK, said: “When it comes to track day tuition, the California Superbike School is the pinnacle, so it is fantastic to be able to partner with it for 2021. Their passion and knowledge are second to none, and our Ninja 650, Z900, and Ninja ZX-10R machines are perfect for helping riders of all experience levels enhance their track skills.

“We are confident that every customer will be able to enjoy the benefits of the Kawasaki range and the 2021 calendar has a fantastic option of circuits to choose from, so we can’t wait to see customers out enjoying themselves!”

Gary Adshead, chief riding coach for California Superbike School UK, added: “We are immensely proud to be working with Kawasaki UK, and it is a real privilege to work with an equally driven and committed team of professionals. Our coaches are thrilled with the news that they will be operating on a Kawasaki platform to demonstrate our world-famous riding technology. We literally cannot wait for our valued customers to see and experience the stunning green machines at their fullest potential!”

FOLLOWING OFF THE BACK OF the new partnership with Kawasaki, crash protection specialist R&G confirmed that the company would also be continuing its long-standing relationship with the California Superbike School.

Hampshire-based R&G first partnered with the School in 2002 and has helped protect machines at both the UK and USA schools.

R&G will be helping the California Superbike School protect its array of track machines, providing them with the essential products needed should the worst happen. This includes R&G Aero crash protectors, fork protectors, and engine case covers. In addition to this, R&G will also be supplying the instructors with its Aero knee sliders.

R&G UK sales manager Alan Garrett commented: “We are excited to be partnering with the California Superbike School again for 2021. We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship, partnering with multiple branches of the school across the globe.

Gary Adshead, chief riding coach at the California Superbike School UK, commented: “We are proud to have R&G continuing as a partner for 2021. We continually recommend R&G products to our community for the ultimate peace of mind when on the road or on track. We are looking forward to the R&G products adding heaps of protection to our new Kawasaki fleet in the usual stylish way that only R&G products can.”
