Valdeluz Newsletter June 2016 Hello, It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of another academic year. We hope you’ve all had an enjoyable and productive final term. Both our teachers and students have been very busy in the classroom, working hard on various projects and activities and we have included some excellent examples of the students’ work in this term’s newsletter. We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing you again next year. Hola: Es difícil creer que ya estamos casi al final de otro año académico. Esperamos que el trimestre haya sido divertido y productivo . Tanto los profesores como los alumnos, hemos estado muy ocupados en las clases; trabajando muy duro en varios proyectos y actividades . Hemos incluido algunos ejemplos excelentes de los trabajos de los alumnos en este boletín. Esperamos que tengan un verano maravilloso y que nos veamos el año que viene.

Pinks Amanda This class have been doing some fantastic speaking activities based on real life situations such as finding your way around a city. Below are the maps they made which they then followed up by directing each other around. They also created and labelled their own lanscapes and presented it to the class.
Esta clase ha hecho unas actividades orales basadas en situaciones diarias y reales como orientarse en una ciudad. Abajo están los mapas que crearon y luego usaron para dirigir a sus compañeros de clase por la cuidad. También crearon y etiquetaron sus propios paisajes y se los presentaron a la clase.
Estos dibujos están expuestos en el centro de General Martinez Campos.
They drew their houses and put their family members inside the different rooms. Dibujaron sus casas y pusieron a los miembros de su familia en las diferentes habitaciones.
Amy’s Yellows Amy’s Yellow class made a video based on a contemporary issue. La clase Yellow de Amy hizo videos basados en temas contemporáneos
Huw’s Pandas The Pandas have been doing some really fun activities this term to help them learn English. They have made some pigs to practise parts of the body, shapes and colours as well as some vibrant parrots to work on colours and animals.
Los Pandas han hecho muchas actividades muy divertidas este trimestre para facilitarles su aprendizaje. Han creado unos cerdos para practicar partes del cuerpo, formas y colores. TambiĂŠn han hecho unos loros vibrantes para trabajar los colores y los animales.
