CORRINE HAMMERSCHLAG IntraContinental Region Conference Consultant May 06-08, 2012
Corinne came to Canada in 1986 from Johannesburg, South Africa. She was a full time teacher until the birth of her first child. She has three children: Neil, Andrea, and Adam, and two grandchildren. Corinne became involved in Sisterhood almost immediately after arriving in Canada. Sisterhood offered her the opportunity to meet new people and get involved.Three years later, she became Sisterhood President. Serving as Region Torah Fund Vice President, Training Services Chair, and President, led her to assume the role of a National Board member, as well as the Outlook Editorial Board, theTorah Fund Cabinet, and the Canadian Liaison for Torah Fund. She is a Wagner Institute graduate and has served for two terms as Vice President with Canadian Policy and Advocacy Chairmanship. Her goals of education and unification of sisterhoods keep her very busy. She has worked in a variety of industries including personal care, publishing, and is now working as a leader for Weight Watchers.
