Beige and cream, may contain crimson or gray veining. Thermal texture intensifies the crimson color.

Stainless steel shot is propelled at high speeds onto the surface of the stone which erodes and dulls the surface; providing a slip-resistant surface. This process can remove larger areas if the stone is less dense in areas.

A high temperature flame of up to 1,800ºF is passed across the surface; this action heats the crystals in the stone and pops the stone's surface creating a slightly rough texture with a low sheen. This process significantly enhances the color of the stone, while leaving a slip-resistant surface. Certain minerals in the stone are altered from the heat, which can draw a crimson hue from the stone.

Perfect for water features, and Japanese themed gardens. Natural Weathered and Fractured Boulders, Irregular Angular Shapes. Aqua Blue Boulders will contain some narrow pieces, for instance a 24” to 36” boulder may only be 18” wide. Aqua Blue™ boulders are graded in the quarry 3” to 6”, 7” to 12”, 12” to 18”, 18” to 24”, 24” to 36”, and 36” up to 24 ton boulders. All boulders 24” and under, must be packaged in either white poly bags, heavy duty cardboard, or in wood crates of approximately 2 tons each. Boulders 24” and greater must be palletized, extra large boulders 5’ and greater must be placed on dunnage. There are additional fees for custom sorting, on-site selecting, and packaging.

Shot-blast Texture Green Building Product

The Shot-blast process was created to provide a surface texture that does not use fossil fuels in production. Stainless steel shot is propelled at high speeds onto the surface of the stone, which erodes the surface texture - placing small divots on the surface, removing more surface area where minerals are less dense.
