(Continued from Page 1C) afraid. Life is simply a balance of these calculated risks. Lastly, live in the moment. Not the past, not the future, but the moment. If your mind is lost in things that have already happened or will be happening soon then you are letting the opportunities right in front of you slip through your fingers. A drifting mind leads to many unnecessary missed hook sets that you will never get back. Graduation is the perfect example. You have a past behind you, a future ahead, but you should soak up the moment while it’s in your grip. I have also learned a few lessons from participating on the golf team. The main one being how to graciously accept defeat. It’s okay to lose, am I right lacrosse boys? But in all seriousness, you can only truly appreci-
ate a win if you are an accomplished loser. So don’t be afraid of making mistakes, you will make them, just make sure to learn from them so eventually you succeed. I am going to end off with a few thank yous. Thank you to all of the automotive kids for turning the necessary wrenches to keep my beautiful Dodge Caravan on the road. Thank you to all of the teachers and staff that have done their best to support and motivate us, I know that must have been brutal. And lastly, thank you to all the friends and family that have supported us along the way. Congrats Class of 2015. We made it. Sullivan Tidd of Casco plans to attend the University of Maine at Orono, where he will major in Civil Engineering or Environmental Studies.
