A Message From Our Executive Director
Dear faithful friends and supporters,

It is an absolute joy to share with you the year of growth, impact, and transformation that 2024 brought Bridging For Tomorrow. I want to start by saying thank you to each volunteer, generous donor, dedicated partner, and staff member. I am personally grateful and want you to know-- You are making a difference. Your generosity, your time, and your belief in what we do are the reasons we were able to continue responding to growing needs, investing time and resources into neighboring families, and empowering this community to be stronger than ever!
Back in 2023, we were faced with a challenge---our programs were growing, and families were engaged, but our space was simply not enough. 2024 brought the blessing of a 1,600 square foot expansion, allowing community participation in our programs to increase by 42%.
Our learning space wasn’t the only resource that grew last year. We also experienced record-breaking generosity at our annual gala and throughout the year that allowed us to continue dreaming of bigger and better ways to use the space and expand our reach.
Your financial generosity and dedication to volunteering made it possible for us to serve more families than ever, offering youth programs to 135 students and increasing the educational opportunities for 130 adults. It helped provide 738 pairs of brand-new shoes to local students and brought holiday joy to families through 634 Christmas gifts at our Santa Shop. It also enabled us to put nutritious food in the hands of hungry families across 90 zip codes – over 800,000 pounds of it!
None of this would be possible without the unwavering support from people like you. Every dollar, every hour, every encouraging word, it all adds up. As you review our 2024 Annual Report, we hope you see the impact you have made, allowing us to expand to new heights. We look forward to working alongside you, as we continue to transform, empower, and bridge the gaps between adversity and opportunity.
From all of us at BFT, thank you!

Expanding to New Heights
In 2023, we saw many of our dreams come to life as our programs grew. As more neighbors joined us, we quickly realized we didn’t have enough space to welcome everyone. So we started imagining fresh ways to meet more needs, walk alongside more community members, and continue building a stronger community together.
2024 brought a major milestone: an additional 1,600 square feet of space! This expansion has opened doors for more educational programming, community events, and so much more. Take a look at some of our favorite moments and milestones!
