There have been defining and historic moments since the inception of CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine. In 2013 fusion/urban jazz composer and arranger, Paul Jackson Jr. graced the first cover. Since that time we have given voice to new artists and seasoned veterans looking for a fresh start to share their stories. Our first printed copy was groundbreaking, there was nothing like it in the market.

As the world has evolved the Coffee Talk team has grown and adapted with the changing times, producing a quarterly digital only magazine. As our business model changed our circulation increased, adding thirty-two thousand music lovers to our email list. In 2018 we begin to see expansive growth up by 48% from our previous year’s target we are proud of that. We interview, promote, market and support independent artists, women in music and jazz icons.

Our feature story and May cover highlights national recording artist, Saxophonist and music producer J. Staton from Chesapeake, Virginia. He has created a sound that strikes a tasteful balance between jazz, gospel, and soul. We are highlighting living legend blues guitarist Tee Dee Young from Lexington KY and we are honoring living legend singer songwriter and jazz vocalist Lorraina Marro.

Each artist has blazed a music trail for others to follow, leading by example embodying the skills to entertain their audience with the songs they sing, and each note played we celebrate their accomplishments.

CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine is the authority on what to do, where to go, and which music festival to attend. In a place where trends are set, and fame is fleeting. CoffeeTalk Jazz Magazine is one of the most widely recognized jazz publications produced in Los Angeles. We have set the standard of becoming one of the most powerful digital-only magazines for jazz artists to tell their story and highlight their talent. Ready To Collaborate with Us? We would love to hear from you.
