SPAIN MEETS TEXAS

Even though they are from different countries, Inma and Christian met on a dating app. Inma was in the Dallas area working as an au pair and wanted to meet others before she returned to her country. Well, Texas has now gained another lovely lady!

Guests at Inma and Christian’s wedding were greeted with Spanish sangria from HD Liquid Catering as they entered the stunning chapel at The Grand Ivory. Soft, romantic shades of dusty rose, whites and sage florals adorned the chapel, courtesy of Millie May Blooms.

Bridesmaids in pink and groomsmen in navy blue looked perfect as they walked down the aisle to violin music by Davis Hudson. Inma, looking gorgeous in her sparkling fitted gown and cathedral veil, entered with her uncle, and the ceremony, in English and Spanish, had everyone in tears.

A fun outdoor cocktail hour included Beer burros from Big City Farms, light-up letters from Lush Marquee, passed appetizers from Blue Mesa Catering, and signature cocktails from HD Liquid. The event was captured by Nathan and Zoey Photography, Fansler Media, and Southern Bash content creation.

Guests enjoyed a Mexican Buffet from Blue Mesa, and Intensity Band kept the dance floor hopping! The groom himself even got on stage to perform a song on the drums! A perfect end to the night was the private dance under the string lights of the Grand Ivory.

LOVE IN FULL BLOOM

Brooke and Cade met the old-fashioned way, through a mutual friend. Brooke’s little sister in her sorority from TCU grew up with Cade in Spring, TX and brought him to her house for a White Linen Party in 2022. A week after their first date, Cade had to move to Dallas for work, so their relationship started out long-distance until he moved back to Houston in the fall of 2023, and the rest is history!

Cade chose one of his favorite restaurants to propose to Brooke. He had the most beautiful set up waiting for her arrival. Brooke, thinking the evening was for a family birthday celebration, didn’t expect what was waiting for her as she rounded the corner. She couldn’t believe her eyes as the realization hit, that this was really happening. They enjoyed the sweetest moment, just the two of them. That wasn’t all that was planned for the evening. Cade surprised Brooke with an engagement party full of their closest friends and family that had come into town to celebrate with them. “It was the most incredible night!” Brooke says.

Brooke and Cade’s rehearsal dinner took place above Hungry’s in Rice Village. The couple, along with their guests, stayed at Hotel ZaZa in the Museum District, where they also got ready and spent the night of the wedding. Keeping all events within a few miles made the weekend effortless and enjoyable for everyone. The celebrations also included a special bridal luncheon at Sixty Vines in Rice Village on the day of the rehearsal dinner, adding an extra touch of elegance to the weekend.

A typical ballroom or indoor venue wasn’t on the cards for Brooke and Cade’s wedding day. Brooke had always dreamed of a garden party wedding under the stars and bistro lighting. She wanted the wedding to feel intimate, relaxed, and fun instead of anything black-tie or too formal. Brooke and Cade chose McGovern Centennial Gardens in Hermann Park Houston, TX. “The venue itself is so beautiful that all we had to do was bring in color with tablecloths and flowers and it turned the space into a dream!” says Brooke.

With the ceremony and reception in the same garden, the space was beautifully flipped during cocktail hour. “I was SO impressed with my wedding planner’s team and all of our vendors,” remarks Brooke. The whole day was led by wedding planner Lexie Cochran with LNC Weddings. The breathtaking florals from Cali + Bloom brought the garden to life. The bar rentals were from Provision Events along with linens and tableware from Decor by Dulce. Catering was provided by Pappasitos because Brooke and Cade wanted a more relaxed feel instead of the typical plated chicken and veggies. Brooke comments, “The fajitas were such a hit, who doesn’t love Tex-Mex?!”

Brooke’s wedding gown was the Dandelion by Tara LaTour which she purchased from Unbridled Houston. Alterations were made by removing the straps to make the perfect garden party dress. Out of all the gowns Brooke tried on she chose the very last one and the only one that felt like her.

Guests were greeted by a show stopping five-tiered wedding cake, its intricate floral design inspired by Brooke’s wedding gown. The masterpiece was crafted by Cakes by Gina in Houston, combining artistry and elegance in every detail. Brooke and Cade spent their honeymoon at the Secrets Resort in Punta Cana. “The Dominican Republic hospitality was top-notch, and the water was absolutely breathtaking!” shares Brooke.

Soak in every moment and don’t sweat the small stuff! All the little details don’t matter the day of. Look around the room at all of your closest friends and family members who are there to celebrate YOU.

FROM HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS TO FOREVER

Jennifer and Edward’s love story began when they were 15 years old. It was just an ordinary day in gym class when Edward kicked a soccer ball… and accidently hit Jennifer in the face. To say her first impression of him wasn’t great would be an understatement. Jennifer hadn’t thought much of Edward before, “I’d seen him around the halls, and he always seemed overly competitive in gym class,” she says. A couple of weeks after the incident, everything changed. The entire freshman class logged into OMGPOP, the hottest social gaming site at the time, and by chance, Jennifer and Edward ended up in the same game room. They began chatting, and before they realized it, the conversation stretched late into the night. His sense of humor drew her in, and suddenly she couldn’t wait for the weekend to end just to see him in person. Their first date was simple but perfect: Chick-fil-A and a movie. Not long after, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and of course she said “YES!” From there a beautiful relationship blossomed. They passed love notes in the hallways, sneaked kisses in between classes, and spent hours talking about their future. By the time they were both 16, Edward asked her almost daily on the school bus to marry him. Jennifer always teased him with the same answer, “Not without a ring.” Then one day, he asked her again, and when she gave her usual response, he flashed a huge grin, pulled a Ring Pop out of his pocket, and asked her once more. She couldn’t help but say yes!

Jennifer and Edward graduated from high school and college together, supporting each other every step of the way. At 23, they took a leap and moved to California to pursue their dreams. They spent four unforgettable years there, exploring Disneyland, the beaches, and the stunning scenery of the Golden State. During this time, Jennifer earned her master’s degree, and Edward received his real estate license, all while they balanced full-time jobs. They both enjoyed being young, wild, and free together. At 27, they decided to move back to Texas to be closer to family. The day before their road trip back Edward planned to propose at Laguna Beach. But Jennifer being her usual self, changed her mind about going. Edward tried everything to convince her, but the proposal had to wait. The second attempt came at a family dinner when they arrived in Texas. Edward walked in with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. She accepted them with no clue as to why she was getting them. She wasn’t feeling well that day, so once again, he held off asking her. Then came the third attempt. Edward picked Jennifer up at her parent’s house, bouquet in hand. Her heart skipped a beat. “Why so many flowers?” she wondered. And then, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Jennifer’s heart raced, especially when she saw that he’d made sure her mom was there, knowing how important she is to her. Jennifer thought, “We have been together for 16 years and I would know when he’d propose.” Yet, he slid past her three times without her knowing. And here they were, with their hearts full of love and laughter, overjoyed to spend the rest of their lives together.

To help with preparations for their wedding day they attended the Bridal Extravaganza. They loved it so much they went four times! They found many of their vendors at the event, including the cake, photobooth, wedding planner, and tuxes etc. Finding the location for their wedding was a little challenging. After touring seven venues all the way from Dallas to Houston they fell in love with Sandlewood Manor in Tomball. As soon as they stepped inside their hearts immediately knew it was the perfect setting to get married.

What began with a chance moment in a high school gym class has grown into a love defined by commitment and devotion. When love starts young, it only grows stronger with time.

A LOVE REUNITED

Madison and Dru’s story began in sixth grade when they met during a school production of Alice in Wonderland. They dated throughout high school before parting ways in college, only to reconnect years later, proving that some love stories are simply meant to find their way back. The proposal was an intimate affair. Dru rented a beautiful Airbnb ranch for the weekend and proposed by the lake, just the two of them. The

weekend was spent surrounded by horses, nature, and golden sunsets.

The wedding took place at the historic Woodbine Mansion in Round Rock, whose timeless beauty set the stage for their magical day. “I fell in love with the venue as soon as I saw it,” Madison shares. After booking the mansion, she was surprised to discover she had pinned the dream venue on Pinterest years earlier. At the end of their wedding day, Madison and Dru chose a pedi-

cab over a traditional getaway car, riding to Round Rock Square and being dropped off at the Round Rock Tavern. The pedicab later returned for guests, adding a fun and memorable touch to the evening.

This vibrant Texas Hill Country wedding, located at Canyonwood Ridge, was designed to take guests on an immersive journey from start to finish. The celebration began with a warm welcome — a path lined with champagne and personal photos, leading into an elegant green and white ceremony set against a sweeping hill country backdrop

Cocktail hour infused the atmosphere with energy, complete with an electric violinist, curated cocktails and stunning scenery with unforgettable views. The reception then shifted into a warm, autumn-inspired ambience with rust and rich burgundy tones, with candlelight, setting the mood for an intimate dinner

The evening’s biggest surprise came next, a full party room reveal, featuring an LED dance floor, arcade games, a photo booth, glowing cowboy hats, and late-night treats from Amy’s Ice Cream and Tiff’s Treats. Outside, a softly lit lawn offered a dreamy retreat, providing the perfect ending to a night filled with joy, magic and unforgettable celebration..

Take a dip in the community pool or enjoy an evening in your private hot tub located on your deck. My favorite part of staying here was waking up early in the morning and sipping coffee and seeing deer right outside my window. These picturesque views make for an unforgettable honeymoon morning.

Without a doubt, no honeymoon is complete without indulging in the area in which you are staying, wine culture. Prochnow Vineyard offers one of the most scenic experiences while you sip on their delicious wine. With stunning views of the Texas Hill Country, this family-owned vineyard is peaceful and inviting all the while being in a secluded area. Couples can enjoy wine tasting on the terrace, sample award-winning varietals and even take a walk through the vineyard rows at sunset. This photo-worthy setting captures the essences of Fredericksburg’s romantic charm.

SMALL TOWN, BIG HEART

The town of Lexington greets you with aged old sidewalks, and the smell of mountain air. Everything moves a little slower here, the sun seems to slowly creep over the mountain points in the morning, and locals and visitors stroll the streets without any real apparent destination. Spend your first days as newlyweds wandering through downtown, walking into antique stores and art galleries, or take a carriage tour of downtown Lexington with Lexington Carriage and meet the sweet horses that pull the carriage, Weston and Arron. The towns historic charm is undeniable, but it never feels outdated. You will find beautifully historic buildings and inns that make you feel a part of the story. The Inn at Brierley Hill, for example, is a secluded and charming place to stay, surrounded by the mountains and breathtaking views every which way you look. Less than five minutes away from the heart of Lexington this Inn offers the chance to unwind and relax.
