These parties became very popular over the holidays, but there’s no reason you can’t host one any time of year! So how does it work? Simply, invite the guests you want to attend and ask them to bring their favorite thing in a quantity of two (or however many you choose) within a set budget. For example, if the budget is $20, guests would choose a favorite thing that is around $20 and bring two of those. This is how I releax. Once every few weeks, I use a bit of Epsom Salt in a hot bath, light a candle, and turn on some music. The smell is nice, but it also benefits my skin. Doing something simple and taking time for myself makes me feel better.

Wedding Industry Conference by Angela Ramirez The annual Wedding Industry Conference was held on September 12 and September 13, 2023. The event took place in the Ballroom at Tanglewood. There were many entrepreneurs in attendance who were ready to hear about wedding planning and business advice. On Tuesday September 12 there were two different classes that took place. The speakers were Lorie Speich, CEO/ wedding business coach, and Shannon Tarrant, founder of Wedding Venue Map. Lorie led the Wedding Planner Mastermind class and Shannon led Wedding Venue Mastermind class. Lorie talked about various aspects of wedding planning. She went over how to attract clients, commu-

On Wednesday September 13 there was a full day conference with 7 speakers. She also explained how some features on Instagram can be used to build closer relationships with other businesses. Up next was Ian Jose Ramirez, co-owner of Madera Estate, with his speech “Leads, Leads, Leads!” Something that stood out from his speech was his terrific tips on how to get reviews from clients.

After her Kirksey Gregg, founder of Kirksey Gregg Productions, started his speech, “Beyond the Trends.” His speech included his own firsthand experiences and how he has dealt with certain situations. He provided invaluable information for working with clients. He also explained why saying no to a client that isn’t the right fit might sometimes be the best option for both you and the client. Craig Howard, owner of Ballroom at Tanglewood, gave his speech titled “The Keys to Successful Sales and Management.” He had amazing advice for venues and vendors. After him Renee Pool, partner/ general manger House of Hough, started her speech “Leadership Mastery.” She provided a lot of knowl-

Liz Scifers and Matt Aleman January 28, 2023

by Rebecca Palmer Photography by Ashley Arden Photography Liz Scifers and Matt Aleman met online in 2019. Little did they know this virtual encounter would result in a beautiful proposal of love. The proposal took place at the Hotel ZaZa in the museum district in Houston. Matt certainly had planned out the perfect proposal for Liz and put a lot of thought into the smallest details. Liz never suspected a thing. He told Liz he purchased tickets to have a meet and greet with a surprise celebrity and took her shopping for the perfect dress and to get her nails done. The night of the “surprise celebrity meet and greet,” they arrived at Hotel ZaZa and entered a private event space. Matt pulled open a massive curtain to reveal a string quartet and a photographer. The aisle was perfectly decorated with rose petals and candle lighting the path to a modern backdrop that sat behind a small marble table set up with a stunning bouquet of pink peonies, which are Liz’s favorite flowers, a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Rose and a small hand-crafted ring box. As the couple walked down the aisle of petals, the string quartet played a special song the couple shared together. Once they reached the table, Matt got down on one knee, opened the ring box and asked, “Well Liz, will you marry me?” Liz immediately said yes! That”s not the only surprise Matt had in store for Liz. The door behind the couple opened and Liz’s parents and best friend and her husband walked in to congratulate them. Her best friend and her husband traveled from Florida to help arrange the proposal event. The large rehearsal dinner took place at Liz’s cousin’s beautiful home in Rice Village. They had Guadalajara Grill and Blue Ribbon Staffing to bartend and serve. The wedding was on January 28, 2023 and took place at Hotel ZaZa since it held a special place in their hearts. The unique flare Matt and Liz added to their wedding was a Harry Potter coffee table book as their guest book! Liz and her father danced the fun, traditional

Polka dance to the song Roll out the Barrel for the father-daughter dance. Liz wore her gorgeous dream dress, veil and crown from Impression Bridal. She had a vision for her beautiful wedding cake and it was custom designed by Monica from World Catering Bakery. Liz’s advice: “Create the wedding experience you and your partner want. Talk about what is important to you both. For Matt and myself, it was having the time to enjoy our family, friends and the party. We chose not to have all the traditional wedding reception extras: dollar

dance, bouquet tossing and so forth. For us this left so much extra time to just enjoy ourselves. At the end of the day, it’s about you and your partner. So just remember to enjoy every bit of it and make that special day your own. One extra piece of advice, bring a paper plate with you in your bridal suite. When it’s time to get your dress on, that paper plate will come in handy as a great fan for those lightheaded butterfly moments.”

Jamie Panizza-Kimball and Shilo Allen Harris March 12, 2019

Unbreakable Bond Jamie Panizza-Kimball and Shilo Allen Harris are both motivational speakers and authors. Their love story began with a friendship that blossomed into a deeper bond. Jamie and Shilo met in San Antonio in 2013 while volunteering with Rotary Club International. Jamie began working along side Shilo by supporting his public speaking engagements and scheduling. Over the years of working together, their friendship turned into a “love for life.” Jamie and Shilo are well-known motivational public speakers and there’s no better way to propose than being

surrounded by their supporters and fans. They both were guest speakers for the Light Up the Hills Christian bike rally in Sturgis, S.D. when Shilo popped the question on stage with a ring in hand. Jamie was so stunned at the proposal, she forgot to respond to the question. The audience eager to know Jamie’s response, yelled out, “yes or no?!” Jamie said “yes!” in front of hundreds of followers. After the engagement, the couple did not make specific wedding plans. They wanted to stay dedicated to their blended family’s needs that included their seven children with age ranges of 9-31 years old. As with their public engagement, their wedding ceremony was also public. The amazing twist is the ceremony was a surprise to be unveiled on My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera premiering nationally. This couple certainly love to profess their love to the world! The wedding took place by the beach in front of a 140 year-old fig tree that represented life, in Santa Monica, California on March 12th. Jamie wanted to be surrounded by nature so the entire area was showered with gorgeous greenery and flowers, including Jamie’s requested Orchids, from passionroses.com. Just before Jamie and Shilo went to cut the cake, Jamie had a surprise waiting for Shilo. She had a heart felt speech and asked four special guests to come out. In walked the four men who not only served with Shilo, but saved his life and brought him back home. Shilo’s expression was shock and joy to see these four amazing people. The ceremony ended on a dance floor with beach balls all over it! Tutera surprised the couple with their favorite band Lonestar to play for their first dance. The cake was a beach themed red velvet. It had a huge sandcastle at the top made of brown sugar with seashells all along the sides made of frosting. It was made by Amazing Cake Creations. The bride’s strapless, gorgeous dress with lace and pearls was custom made by David Tutera.

night of the proposal, Austin and Meghan had driven out to Austin’s hometown, The Woodlands, to enjoy Christmas lights with family and keep the tradition alive. When they arrived, they were walking and enjoying the beautiful display of lights on the houses, Meghan asked to stop to take a photo. Austin seized the moment and dropped down on one knee and asked Meghan to be his wife as his sister was capturing the special moment. Meghan cried joyful tears as she said “YES!” To Meghan’s surprise, her mom and extended family, and close friends came out from hiding behind the cars across the street. The cherished moment was celebrated with family and friends with a bottle of champaign and created a magical memory for Meghan that she will never forget. They held their rehearsal dinner at Laundry’s in The Woodlands. They started with open bar cocktails followed by a delicious dinner. After dinner, they went to the patio and rehearsed. The wedding ceremony happened on November 4, 2022 at Iron Manor in Montgomery, Texas. Meghan and Austin knew what styles and themes they both wanted for their special day and knew they had a large family to accommodate. They chose this venue based on several factors but mostly because they fell in love with the venue. Their three-tiered cake was creatively created with two round tiers and one square. A gold and emerald theme was carried throughout the event. One of the many wonderful things about Meghan’s and Austin’s wedding ceremony is that it was officiated by Meghan’s Godfather! After an elaborate meal, the dance floor was full of family and friends – dancing the night away. The couple honeymooned in Italy.

Dominique worked as a registered nurse while Besil had a career in white glove delivery. Their paths crossed at HCA Hospital at the Medical Center when they coincidentally met at a vending machine on September 27, 2021. Besil orchestrated a memorable proposal for Dominique at Ruth’s Chris restaurant on February 5, 2022. It was a special evening that marked the beginning of their engagement journey. The wedding took place at Fountain Pointe at Mia Bella in Tomball, Texas. After visiting several locations, they found Fountain Pointe to be the most welcoming and fitting for their special day. Its charm and ambiance were a perfect match for their vision. The rehearsal dinner was held at Cheddar’s the night before the wedding, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and celebrate before the big day. Dominique found her dream gown at David’s Bridal, opting for an organza mermaid wedding dress with a lace-up back. The gown added an element of elegance and sophistication to her bridal look.

Jenny’s Bakery in Friendswood, TX, was responsible for creating their wedding cake. Their expertise ensured a delicious and visually appealing centerpiece for the reception. Rather than going on a traditional honeymoon, Dominique and Besil chose to spend quality time with their families and with each other before returning to their normal lives. This allowed them to cherish the newlywed moments and build a strong foundation for their future together. Fairytale Love

Jose Reyes and Samantha Martinez celebrated their union on October 8, 2022. Samantha worked as a forensic toxicologist at the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, while Jose was an independent day trader. Their love story began in the spring of 2016 when they met at a mutual friend’s party. They instantly connected, made each other laugh, and formed a strong impression. Over time, their friendship grew, and despite living in different locations, they maintained constant communication through various platforms. Jose planned a memorable proposal for Samantha during a visit to the Beauty and the Beast castle at Disneyworld. After an anxious wait in the foyer, they were seated for a family lunch. Little did Samantha know that a special moment was about to unfold. As a fortune cookie was delivered to her, Jose got down on one knee and professed his love. Overwhelmed with joy, Samantha said yes before even seeing the ring, and the magical proposal took place on June 18, 2021. The wedding took place at Beckendorff Farms in Katy, Texas. Samantha discovered the venue online and fell in love with the pictures. After visiting the location, she knew it was the perfect place to exchange their vows and create lifelong memories.

For the rehearsal dinner, they opted for a more casual setting, mingling with their loved ones and enjoying light foods in a private room at a local bar in Katy, Texas. Samantha found her dream gown at Vivienne Atelier Bridal on Washington Avenue in Houston, Texas. The bridal boutique provided her with a beautiful and enchanting dress that made her feel like a princess on her special day. The couple chose Hummingbird Bakery in Richmond to bring their dream cake to life. The bakery exceeded their expectations, creating a stunning and delicious centerpiece for their reception. Instead of a traditional honeymoon, Jose and Samantha decided to indulge in an all-inclusive resort experience at Excellence in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was a perfect way to relax and celebrate their new chapter as a married couple. One unique aspect of their wedding was the personal touches they added, making it a reflection of their personalities and love story. They cherished the moment by taking bride and groom pictures within a forest scenery, creating lasting memories in a serene and natural setting. Running Through My Mind Christopher and Cara met in a running club while they were both living in Fort Worth. He immediately walked up and introduced himself to her, and they hit it off. While on vacation in Glacier National Park, the couple went on a ten-mile hike to a beautiful lake. They walked out onto a dock, and Christopher proposed with the breathtaking backdrop. Then he pulled out a bottle of champagne that he had hiked with the whole time. The couple decided to celebrate the occasion in Cara’s hometown of The Woodlands, outside of Houston. They held the ceremony at The Woodlands United Methodist Church followed by the reception at the posh Woodlands Country Club. The day was filled with joy, and even two “party alpacas” that guests could take pictures with! The honeymoon was put on pause due to COVID-19, but Christopher and Cara look forward to extending the celebration of their marriage with a trip to Hawaii.

Bride’s Advice: “You will get lots of thoughts and opinions from others - even if you don’t ask for them. Remember, this day is about you and your spouse to be. Do what will make you happy, and don’t do something just to please others.

It was a moment we’d been waiting for with bated breath – we were about to enter the sacred grounds of the Edfu Temple in Edfu, Egypt, and we were the first and only tour group lucky enough to do so. “Hurry,” urged Ahmed, our guide, pushing us to snap pictures quickly. “This won’t happen again.” Throughout our expedition, we had encountered throngs of tourists at every temple, but this was a rare moment of solitude amidst ancient splendors. Our voyage of ancient Egypt and the Nile unfolded aboard the newest addition to the Viking fleet: The Osiris. On the eleventh day of our adventure, we achieved the Holy Grail of travel – a chance to capture a significant image without the photobombing tourists.

Luxor A quick flight takes you to Luxor on the east bank of the Nile River. Here, you board the Viking Osiris, embarking on a week of Nile navigation. Along the riverbank, you’ll encounter the ruins of two ancient temple complexes. Karnak Temple stands out, known for its sphinx-lined boulevard that once connected it to Luxor Temple. We were fortunate to witness Luxor in the evening when strategic lighting brought the carvings to life dramatically. Just across the modern-day Luxor lies the Valley of the Kings, a burial site containing tombs dating from the 16th to the 11th centuries BC. In 1922, the world’s attention was captured when King Tut’s tomb was discovered here. You can visit the tomb of the boy king and view his mummified remains. Deir el Bahari, a complex of mortuary temples and tombs on the west bank of the Nile, offers another awe-inspiring experience. In the Valley of Queens, take a private tour of Queen Nefatari’s tomb, one of the largest and most beautifully decorated graves in ancient Egyptian history. Despite being over 5000 years old, the vibrant colors on its walls could pass for artwork created just this year.

If you’re in the market for silk, the souk in Aswan offers countless options. After shopping, hop aboard a traditional Felucca for a scenic sail back to the boat. As we set sail, we’re treated to a breathtaking sunset over Aswan. Nubian Village For many Viking guests, a highlight is visiting a local school funded by Viking. We had the chance to sit in a classroom and interact with school children. We also visited communal housing, where the family adds a floor to the house when a daughter gets married. Often, the top floor remains under

It’s not often you get to “go back in time” and relive certain nostalgic experiences that are reminiscent of summer camp. And for some, me included, these were FIRST TIME EXPERIENCES. Barnsley Resort for this self-proclaimed city girl was like a refined adult summer camp.

Barnsley Resort is situated in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains, a real life “storybook Setting,” with an even richer history celebrated in every aspect of this spectacular resort. The property encompasses 3,000 acres full of exploration and wonder. The Barnsley Resort’s story began as a love story, the love between Godfrey Barnsley, a wealthy Englishman who came to the US in 1824, and his bride, Julia Scarborough of Savannah, Georgia.

Mr. Barnsley purchased the land to build his beloved Julia, mother to his six children, a “grand mansion,” but she suddenly passes in 1845 of a lung ailment, and the building comes to a halt. A year later, Godfrey is “visited in a dream by his late wife and in the dream“ she instructs him to finish the estate for their children and future generations.” By 1848, the estate and gardens of Woodlands are completed with magnificent gardens modeled after the architectural designs of Andrew Jackson Downing. The unique manor home even boasts “modern plumbing and real Italian marble. Tragically, in 1906 a tornado rips away the roof of the manor home and the Barnsley descendants opt to not repair the building. In 1935, two great grandsons of Godfrey and Julia Barnsley, are in a dispute over the financial affairs of the estate and one brother kills the other, thus the remnants of the estate are sold at auction in 1942. Sadly, the estate, the formal gardens and historic buildings fall into ruin, and it sits untouched for almost 40 years. In 1988, a Bavarian prince

purchases the estate and begins a massive restoration and rebirth of the historic gardens, focusing on maintaining the natural flora from its early days. The Barnsley Gardens and museum opens to the public in 1991 and finally, in 1999, the magnificent Barnsley Resort opens, offering an “English inspired village” nestled inside the phenomenal gardens. When we say, “English inspired village,” think of Wisteria Lane. Each cottage is unique and offers refined elegance. Once you arrive at the Barnsley, there really is no need to go anywhere else. Outdoor activities are EVERYWHERE.

Not only that, but there is also something for EVERYONE at Barnsley. Golf? No problem, there is a Jim Fazio designed championship 18-hole golf course and Golf Performance Center that includes a “TrackMan” simulator and custom club fitting with some of the top golf club makers. Shooting Gallery? Beretta Shooting Grounds are on the property. In fact, Barnsley is home to “one of the southeast’s premier sporting clays facilities, with two 14 station courses and a covered five stand.” (Seasonal quail hunting on the 1800-acre preserve is available October - March). Horseback riding? Both lessons on horsemanship and guided horseback riding tours are available. If you prefer less, all along the property you can participate in the great outdoors independently too. Take a nature hike, take a dip in the pool, borrow a bicycle for a tour around the property, canoe in the lake, channel your inner Katniss Everdeen at the archery center or throw axes at the barn. The kids will love the miniature horses and fainting goats at the barn too! S’mores are a MUST try at one of the many outdoor fire pits and supplies are available daily from 8-10 pm.

By Nikola Meyer Photography by Waterdog & Rabbit Step into a world of vibrant flavors with colorful elements as we share the joy and warmth of a Spanish-themed Dinner Party. When I think about Spain, it always reminds me of summer vacation, where we hung out at the beach, enjoyed some churros at a street market and went to dinner at our favorite restaurant which was at the beach. I wanted to create the same feeling, so I decided to incorporate sand and seashells on the table to represent the ocean and the beach. We also had a Sangria bar, where we had different varieties of Sangrias. Inspired by the beach and the love for Spanish cuisine and culture, let me take you on a journey to experience an evening filled with delicious tapas, aromatic paella, crispy churros and decorations that remind you of having a dinner at the beach of Spain.

Tapas:

Spanish cheeses and meat, spanish olives, chorizo al vino tinto, tortilitas de camarones and aioli with bread

Tortillitas de Camarones Spanish Shrimp Fritters • • • • • • •

150 g fresh camarones (baby shrimp) 3/4 cup flour 3/4 cup chickpea flour 1 cup cold water 1 small spring onion finely diced Good quality Spanish olive oil Fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions: 1. In a bowl, combine the flour, chickpea flour, diced onion, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt. 2. Add the glass of water and mix to form a smooth batter with a runny consistency. 3. Add the shrimp, and mix so that all of the shrimp are covered in the batter. Leave the mix to chill in the fridge for 30 minutes (this will help you get the mega crispiness in the fritters!). 4. In a large, shallow frying pan add olive oil to a depth of about 2 centimeters (just below an inch). Place over a medium-high heat. 5. Once the oil heats up, start adding tablespoons of the batter to the frying pan. The batter should expand and crisp up into fritters. Add enough fritters to fill the pan, without them touching each other or the edges of the frying pan. 6. Fry until golden brown, turning over halfway through to make crisp on both sides. 7. When ready, use tongs to remove the fritters fro the pan, allowing excess oil to drip back into the pan. Gently put on a plate covered with paper towels. 8. Serve hot, seasoned with more salt. Notes: If you can’t get fresh shrimp, you can use frozen cooked shrimp, but make sure they are completely thawed and dried before cooking. If you can’t find chickpea flour, you can substitute the same amount of wheat flour. Just add a half teaspoon of turmeric to give the light yellow tinge to the tortillita. 108

Chorizo al Vino Tinto (Chorizo in Red Wine) • • • • • • •

1.5 pounds of uncooked chorizo 2 tablespoons good quality olive oil 1 cup of red wine 1 clove of garlic 2 bay leaves 1/2 cup chopped parsley to serve 1 loaf rustic bread to serve

Instructions: 1. Slice the chorizo into 1/2-inch pieces. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over a medium-high flame. Add the chorizo to the skillet and fry for 2 minutes on each side. 3. Add the wine, garlic, and bay leaves and bring to the boil. Swirl to dissolve any sediment from the chorizo, and reduce heat to a simmer. 4. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the wine has reduced to a thick sauce. 5. Garnish with fresh, chopped parsley and serve immediately with bread.

Sangria Red • • • • • • •

Peaches Oranges Strawberries 3/4 cup pomegranate soda 1/3 cup brandy 750 ml bottle Spanish red wine Ice to chill

Instructions: 1. Add oranges, peaches, and strawberries to a large pitcher and muddle with a muddler or wooden spoon for 45 seconds. 2. Add pomegranate soda and brandy and muddle again to combine for 30 seconds. 3. Add red wine and stir to incorporate, then taste and adjust flavor as needed. 4. Add ice and stir once more to chill. Garnish with fruits and then it’s ready to serve. 109

Easy Spanish Aioli: Homemade Garlic Mayonnaise

• • • • •

3 - 4 garlic cloves 2/3 - 3/4 cup of olive oil 1 egg yolk Salt to taste 1 teaspoon of natural lemon juice

Instructions: 1. Peel and mince the garlic cloves. 2. Place the minced garlic into the mortar. Using the pestle, begin to pound the minced garlic until it is well-mashed. 3. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Incorporate the egg yolk and salt into the bowl with the mashed garlic. Stir well. Discard the egg white. 4. Very slowly, and adding only a little bit at a time, begin to incorporate the oil while mixing the garlic, egg yolk, and oil constantly. This is the step that requires patience! Be sure to go slowly so that the garlic and oil have a chance to blend well. 5. Once the mixture begins to thicken, incorporate the lemon juice. The resulting texture should be creamy, smooth mayonnaise. 6. Refrigerate the mixture, which should last a few days. 7. Tip: If you do not have a mortar and pestle or are pressed for time, combine all ingredients in a small- or medium- sized bowl, and let the hand mixer do the work. Keep the hand mixer steady and pressed to the bottom of the bowl at first, and slowly let it come up to fluff the mixture as the mixture thickens.

Instructions: Strawberries 1. Add lemons, strawberries and Lemons green apples to a large pitcher and Green apple muddle with a muddler or wooden Club soda spoon for 45 seconds. 1/3 cup brandy 2. Add club soda and brandy and 750 ml bottle Spanish white wine muddle again to combine for 30 Ice to chill seconds. 3. Add white wine and stir to incorporate, then taste and adjust flavor as needed. 4. Add ice and stir once more to chill. 5. Garnish with fruits and then it’s ready to serve.

Sangria Rose from Natalie Akins • • • • • •

1 bottle (750ml) of your favorite Rose 2-3 Sprigs of Mint 1/2 - 1 worth of lime juice 150+ ml of Orange Liqueur 100 ml Sweet Vermont 300 ml quality lemon soda

Optional: 75 ml simple syrup Garnish: lemon slices, fresh mint, stawberry slices, orange slices

Instructions: 1. Get a large pitcher for mixing. 2. Pour the bottle of rosé into the pitcher, add in mint sprigs, and the lime juice. 3. Muddle thoroughly. 4. Add the orange liqueur, lemon soda, and optional sweetener. 5. Stir well. 6. Allow to rest in the fridge for 4-6 hours. Notes: My liqueur of choice is Jalisco, an agave-sweetened orange liqueur product. 111

Paella Receipe for 15 people • • • • • • • • • • •

35 oz paella rice Half a celery root 6 bell peppers 4 leeks 4 onions 25 oz green beans 8 garlic cloves 5 packets of Paella Seasoning(paellero) 64 fl oz vegetable broth Olive oil Chicken, cod and clams/ mussels (or whatever fish and meat you like)

Utensils: • Grill • Paella pan Instructions: 1. Cut the vegetables and grate the celery root 2. Precook the green beans 3. Sauté the vegetables in oil 4. Sauté the fish and meat 5. Mix paella seasoning with vegetable broth 6. Add paella rice with vegetables to the paella pan and mix well 7. Spread meat, fish and mussels on the paella

8. Pour vegetable broth over the paella until everything is covered 9. Light the grill until it reaches a temperature of 400 ˚F. Once the temperature is reached, place the paella pan on the grill. The paella should be ready after about 25 minutes or until the rice is cooked through.

Churros • • • • • • •

1 cup water 1/4 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 tsp salt 1 cup all - purpose flour 1 large egg 1/2 tsp vanilla extract Vegetable oil, for frying

For coating • •

1/2 cup granulated sugar 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions: 1. For the coating whisk together sugar and cinnamon and set aside. 2. Heat up vegetable oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. While oil is heating prepare batter. For the batter: 1. Add water, butter, and salt to a large saucepan, bring to a boil over medium-high heat 2. Add flour reduce heat to medium-low and cook and stir constantly with a rubber spatula until mixture comes together and is smooth (a few lumps in it are fine). 3. Transfer mixture to a large mixing bowl and let it cool down for 5 minutes. 4.Add vanilla extract and an egg to the mixture. Then blend until mixture comes together and is smooth (it will separate at first but keep mixing it will come together). 5. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag. 6. Carefully pipe mixture into preheated oil and let fry until golden brown. 7. Transfer the churros to a paper towel to get rid of excess oil, then transfer to cinnamon & sugar mixture and roll to coat.
