‘Odd Couple’ takes a feminine twist Olive and Florence, pick up where Oscar and Felix left off in a female version of Neil Simon’s classic “The Odd Couple.” Performances take place Sunday, Oct. 11 and Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. in Antioch’s El Campanil Theatre. “The Odd Couple” features two best friends, separated from their spouses, who decide to share an apartment together. But you couldn’t find a more mismatched pair. One is a slob of epic proportions and the other is a neat freak. One’s a free spirit while the other is impossibly bottled up. Florence’s compulsive cleaning and her many irritating habits slowly get on Olive’s nerves. And when Florence ruins a promising evening
with two sexy brothers, Olive has had enough and shows Florence the door. The Vagabond Players production stars Sheilah Morrison and Carol Scott. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors (62 and over) and $10 for youth. The El Campanil Theater is located at 602 W. ABBA tribute in Antioch Dust off the leisure suits and shine up those platform shoes.
