Building Momentum
Since our humble beginnings, Brent’s Place has grown from a mission supporting pediatric bone marrow transplant patients into a vital lifeline for hundreds of families each year. With Safe-Clean accommodations across two campuses, we continue to strengthen our capacity to serve pediatric and adult patient families traveling to Denver for a variety of life-saving treatments.

A Sanctuary of Support and Belonging
At Brent’s Place, your generosity ensures care extends far beyond the patient to embrace the entire family. More than providing Safe-Clean housing, your support fuels trauma-informed programs that ease the emotional, logistical, and financial burdens of treatment.
Each year, you make more than 1,500 programs possible — from nourishing meals and community outings to on-site activities like arts and crafts and magic shows — all of which bring relief and restore joy. With every personalized holiday or birthday celebration, families are reminded that they are not facing this journey alone, but are part of a compassionate community of hope and healing.

Creating Joyful Experiences for Patients and Families
So far this year, Brent’s Place families - both pediatric and adult - have found comfort and connection through supportive programming. Here are a few highlights:
Denver Zoo Adventure
Twenty Brent’s Place families enjoyed a private behind-the-scenes tour with Zookeeper Dave, meeting animals like Rudy the Rhino. Both kids and adults delighted in discovering the zoo together.

A new favorite for adult program community, monthly happy hours create space to relax and connect. At a recent gathering, supporter Brian Kagan surprised guests with an uplifting magic show.

Family Outings
Thanks to generous sponsors, families have been able to explore Denver with outings to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Denver Botanic Gardens, Colorado Rockies games, the movies, and more — moments of normalcy and joy in the midst of treatment.
The Gift of Home, Hope, and Healing
Brent’s Place is the only facility of its kind offering free-to-families, Safe-Clean housing and wraparound support to those facing lifethreatening medical challenges. For parents, caregivers, and patients, our doors open to more than shelter — they open to a true home filled with hope, healing, and community.
This holiday season, you can be part of that healing journey. By giving to the Hope Lives Here campaign, your generosity provides families with more than a place to stay — it offers relief from financial burdens, nourishing meals, personalized celebrations, and a compassionate community to lean on.
Every gift helps ensure that no family has to face the fight of their lives alone. Join us in bringing home, hope, and healing to those who need it most.

If you give cumulatively more than $250 per year, you may be eligible for a state income tax credit through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit.
