An original Daltec cable and a Daltec friction drive constitute a reliable transport system with unique advantages. Compared to other drive systems the cable minimizes both the noise and energy consumption because it is both light and flexible. When using a Daltec cable for transport of feed, the risk of feed separation during transport is minimized and ex. pellets are not damaged. Especially in portioning systems, it is an added advantage that there is less tendency of feed residues depositing on a cable than on conveyors. It minimizes both the waste and the mixing of different diets. The Daltec cable is produced from special certified steel with high tensile strength and toughness.
