Viola on of Medica on Policy

Viola on of Medica on Policy (D1601): Students are not permi ed to take medica on of any kind in school unless that medica on is given by the school nurse. Prescrip on medica on should be in the original pharmacy container. Prescrip on and nonprescrip on medica on may be administered by the school nurse during school hours, u lizing the instruc ons outlined in the Board policy.

Grades K – 5: Level II Off ense

First Off ense Required:

Subsequent Off enses Required:

• Parent/Guardian no fi ca on and/or conference • Referral to support services or social service agency

Grades 6 – 12: Level II Off ense First Off ense Required:

• Staff explana on & correc on • Issue warning • Parent/Guardian no fi ca on
