Greetings from National Training Chair

Greetings, I am pleased and honored to welcome you to Blacks In Government (BIG) 43rd Annual National Training Institute (NTI) in Cleveland, Ohio. This has been an incredible journey for all of us since the start of the pandemic in 2020. I am excited that you have chosen to join us in-person this year. This year’s theme is “BIG 2022: Training in a Transformed Workplace –Providing Innovative Professional Development!” which focuses on many opportunities to enhance leadership skills and motivate attendees at all levels to succeed in their challenging work environments and adjusting to the new norm. Although we have face many challenges in the workplace, work-life balance, and returning to work, this year’s training will focus on equipping you with strength and resilience to succeed. BIG is excited about offering over 120 workshops this week. It is The National Training Institute has information and opportunities to facilitate the development of everyone’s workplace skills. I hope that you leave this year’s NTI nurtured and fulfilled with a wealth of knowledge to assist you in accomplishing your career goals.
