There was once a boy named Nanouk,
with his cattle, roamed around and went swimming in the rivers of the valley. When the winters approached, the nights became longer and the days shorter. The prices in the market got inflated and he couldn’t find anything to eat. The waters in the froze and he couldn’t even go fishing. Philip and his mother survived the winters with whatever little food they got from begging! Most of the times they were hungry and sick! It was the worst winter for Philip’s mom and him.
who lived in the northern highlands which was mostly covered with snow. Nanouk toiled very hard during the summer so that, come winter, he and his family could live cozily inside their tiny hut, and save themselves from the biting cold. He would collect berries, nuts, fish and even hunted meat of the wild animals in time. In the summer of 195O, he had a new neighbor called Philip. Philip played all day round and was very happy! Nanouk being experienced, warned Philip about the winters being deadly. Philip didn’t take Nanouk seriously. He played
