Cuenca, its name means the shallowest place in the river because it is located on the bank of the Yanuncay River, it bears the name of Santa Ana de los Ríos de Cuenca in honor of the city of Cuenca in Spain, where the Spanish king Andrés Hurtado de Mendoza was born.
