BR News Nollywood invades Namibia

Ejike & Francis Windhoek got crazy for a moment when Nollywood stars visited Namibia. It was four days filled with joy, laughter, fun and more fun and the famous Aki and Pawpaw made a great impression to their fans. The Nigeria Export Promotion Council in collaboration with The Nigerian High Commission to Namibia and Belle Ragazze Co-operative organized an event that is still the talk of the town. The event kicked off on Sunday the 17th of October 2010 with an official opening of an exhibition and also marking the 50 year golden jubilee of the people’s republic of Nigeria. The official opening was graced by the presence of the High Commissioner of Nigeria to Namibia, H.E. (Prince) Adegboyega Christopher Ariyo, Mrs. Ariyo, the Governor of Khomas Region Hon. Sophia Shaningwa, the director of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council Mr. David I. Adelugba to name a few.

The event went rather well and the public was pleased to be awarded an opportunity to come face to face with the Nollywood stars and the High ComAdegboyega Chris- missioner of Nigeria to Namibia. Some people went on to say that the High topher Ariyo, Commissioner is a hardworking man who does not rest until the job is done, further, one member of the public stated that he was very kind and friendly and he is a perfect representation of the Nigerian government. The chief executive officer of Belle Ragazze Co-operative stated that the project was good experience for his team and he wishes to continue working with the Nigerian High Commission in Namibia. He further acknowledged the High Commissioner for supporting Belle Ragazze and its activities.
