Marinara Sauce method: Purée tomatoes and set aside. Cook onion and garlic in hot olive oil. When onion is tender, add bay leaf, well-crushed basil and oregano leaves, coriander and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, until thickened, about 45 minutes. Serves 5

14 oz. jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained & chopped 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated 1 cup mayonnaise 1 clove garlic, minced dash lemon juice, freshly squeezed
Mix all ingredients together in an oven-proof dish. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Serve with crackers. (Triscuits are nice). Try adding 7 oz. of crab meat or some smoked salmon. May also be heated in microwave until bubbly hot.
