Leah & BJ A RUSTIC SUMMER LOVE You love Montana and want your wedding to reflect this area’s rustic side, but you want it done elegantly and simply. Burlap accents, baby’s breath for your centerpieces and lots of lace. It’s the perfect combination of Montana’s Wild West and it’s wilderness sides, without being too much of either. Leah and BJ’s simply elegant summer wedding is a perfect example of a rustic Montana gathering. BRIDGER BRIDE Leah and BJ met like many other couples in Bozeman do—at Bridger Bowl. At the time, they were already in relationships of their own, but once each of them were single again, the same friend who introduced them the first time reintroduced them. They had their first date at the Sweet Tooth Swing and ended up dancing the whole night away. POPPING THE QUESTION Eventually, BJ asked Leah’s parents for their blessing on the proposal. For months, every time Leah called her parents, they would wait to see if he had popped the question. But the summer months flew by and turned into Christmas and still no proposal. Then, the couple took a trip to Vietnam. After taking a 13-hour overnight train ride to a boutique resort, BJ finally popped the question after dinner on the beach. Leah was so excited, BJ had to ask twice.
THE BIG DAY When planning their wedding, the couple wanted to keep it simple. Leah, who is from New York, and BJ, who is from Minnesota, wanted to highlight Montana at their wedding, so their family could experience it as much as possible. They had a

local bluegrass band, Little Jane and the Pistol Whips, play and BJ made a “K” (both of their last initials) brand from some metal he found in the Gallatin River to accent all their wedding décor.
