WHERE THE STARS COME OUT BOWLING GREEN’S BELOVED PERFORMING ARTS VENUE MARKS MILESTONE IN HISTORIC DOWNTOWN

C

elebrating its fifth year, the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center provides exceptional artistic and educational experiences by presenting, producing and exhibiting the highest quality art. SKyPAC’s vision is to inspire every individual in the region to value, create, explore and celebrate art. SKyPAC has set a new standard for contemporary events, both local and touring arts performances and exhibitions, including Broadway musicals, family entertainment, concerts and comedians. Located in the heart of Bowling Green’s downtown district, SKyPAC overlooks Circus Square Park and the Stadium Park Plaza, which houses free parking and restaurants in front of the Bowling Green Hot Rod’s minor league baseball park. SKyPAC consists of the Main Hall which seats 1,743, the 2,600 sq. ft. Carol Wedge

Studio Theatre, the 5,300 sq. ft. Laura G. Charitable Foundation Lobby, the SKyPAC Lounge located at the top of the grand staircase, two rehearsal halls, a Main visual art gallery and the Wedge Children’s Gallery. Functioning primarily as a home for live stage events, SKyPAC also is used as a social venue to host diverse community gatherings such as wedding receptions, galas, conferences, graduations, educational workshops, dance recitals, business meetings, parties with chef throw-downs and more. SKyPAC celebrates five years of enhancing the quality of life for individuals in South Central Kentucky with its 2016-17 subscription series.
