LaBatte Simmentals and Oberle Bros. purchased El Tigre 52Z for $61,000 at the 2013 MRL Ranch bull sale. We were lucky enough to acquire a semen pack from them to use in our program. El Tigre has worked very well in our program adding tremendous thickness and rear quarter to our black program. He adds a ton of hair to his calves who are very vigorous at birth and grow like weeds when they hit the ground with a ton of performance. His first daughters are coming into production and are surpassing our expectations‚ very moderate made, lots of milk with beautiful udders and great mothering ability. El Tigre will continue to be used heavily in our program again this spring.

Talk about a tank and this El Tigre son fits the bill. Super soggy and deep made carrying his thickness right through the flank best describes 70D. He is very similar to his full brother from last year in his make up but only in a red package. This bull has been a pasture and pen favorite all year with his overall performance and presence can’t help but grab ones attention. He is backed by the great Red Doll cow family which is one of our favorite cow families at JayDawn. Awesome udders and big time production is what this cow family is all about. Dam, Grand Dam and Great Grand Dam are all still in production at JayDawn with CLO 655S being part of our flushing program last spring to the great Riddler bull.
