How to use
After centrifugation, discard the supernatant and add BotuCrio directly to the sperm pellet at a concentration of 200 million sperm per mL. Pack and seal the straws.
For the conventional freezing method, stabilize the straws at 5oC for 20 minutes.
Then, place the straws in nitrogen vapor (Styrofoam box), 3 to 6 cm above liquid nitrogen level for 20 minutes.
For thawing, the straws must be placed in a water bath at 37oC for 30 seconds or 46oC for 20 seconds.

SpermFilter[1][2] is a synthetic membrane filter with micropores allowing the passage of seminal plasma and bacteria, retaining only sperm cells.
As an innovation, the filter eliminates the need for a centrifuge and can be used routinely in cases where it would be used.
Furthermore, the filtration was demonstrated to be less traumatic and harmful to sperm when compared to conventional centrifugation, since the sperm pass passively through the filter.
How to use
Dilute the semen with BotuSemen and place it in the SpermFilter. Gently swirl the diluted semen around the filter, touching the bottom of the filter to the Petri dish, until the extender and seminal plasma are completely removed. Wash the filter with an appropriate volume of either BotuSemen or BotuCrio extender.
SpermFilter can be reused 10 times for the same stallion.

Solution For Sperm Evaluation
BotuVital[1][2] is a quick and practical alternative to assess sperm morphology and plasma membrane integrity.
It’s based on eosin-nigrosine staining, in which nigrosin increases the contrast between the background and sperm heads, making it easier to visualize, the eosin stains only dead sperm, turning them dark pink, while live sperm appear white.
RedCushion[1][2] is a high-density colloidal medium used in semen centrifugation to protect sperm cells, reducing damage caused by conventional centrifugation.
RedCushion-centrifugation semen produces less compacted pellets and a high sperm recovery rate. Due to its reddish color, it allows easy visualization of the pellet, as well as its removal.
How to use
Dilute the semen with BotuSemen and place it in a centrifuge tube. Place 3 mL of RedCushion in the bottom of the centrifuge tube. Centrifuge at 1000g for 20 minutes. Using a pipette, remove the sperm pellet and resuspend sperm with an appropriate volume of either BotuSemen or BotuCrio.
