Venue, Dates, and Registration Conference Venue: The Sheraton Boston Hotel Boston Pride is planning to host the 2012 Annual General Meeting of InterPride at the Sheraton Boston Hotel, located at 39 Dalton St, in Boston, MA. More information about the Sheraton is available at Sheraton.com/Boston. The Sheraton Boston Hotel is a Three Diamond (AAA rating) and Three Star (Mobil Rating) hotel. Room Block: the Sheraton Boston Hotel has the capacity to host this conference as evidenced by the number of guest rooms they are able and willing to offer at discounted rate specified below. Should Boston Pride receive the honor of hosting the conference, we will work with the Sheraton to come up with a plan to reserve room blocks that are directly in line with the expected number of registrations. We will incorporate a reservation timeline into our signed contract with the hotel. For more information, see Sheraton Boston Hotel material on the following pages.

Conference Dates: 3-7 Oct. 2012 Because of the fall foliage, October is a very expensive month in our city. Initially, Boston Pride was thinking about hosting the conference in September in an effort to keep costs down. We recently went back to the Sheraton to ask if they could offer the September rates in October and they agreed. With that said, we feel fortunate to be able to offer the following pricing: Dates:

3-7 October, 2012

Standard Guest Room (Single/Double):

$239/night

Note that these are the actual hotel rates and we are not participating in a rebate program with the hotel.

Registration Information To offset the Guest Room Rate, Boston Pride has worked to propose the following Registration Fee Schedule: Rate

Rate Comparison While our room rate is a bit higher than typical, due to our Northeast location, we are purposely keeping Registration Fees low to compensate. As you can see from the quick snapshot comparison below, our overall costs are reasonable and in line with other cities. Item

Should an InterPride Delegate register during the “early registration” period, the Registration Fee for Boston 2012 would go down to $125, which would bring the total attendance cost to $945.61, only $53 above the cost of Long Beach 2010. Considering the conference is two years away, this is a very minimal and reasonable increase in total expenses.
