Announcements Children’s Choir Rehearsal Schedule - Today at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 4th at 6:30 pm and next Sunday, May 8th at 6:00 pm. Spring Mission Project - The GA’s are beginning a new spring mission project. They will be collecting old, small flower pots that they will decorate and fill with spring flowers to be delivered to our shut-ins. The flower pots do not have to be new. They will be decorating them with paint, rub-on transfers and ribbons. The collection box is in the Education Building. Christian Yin Yoga Class - Yoga is cancelled for this Tuesday, May 3rd but will begin again the following Tuesday, May 10th. Yoga class every Tuesday night until May 24th in the Fellowship Hall. Please come and bring your friends. The classes will be from 7:00 pm until 8:15 pm. Wednesday Night Fellowship Meal - May 4th from 5:30 - 6:30 pm (Arrival anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 pm). The menu is: BBQ Chicken, String Beans, Buttered Potatoes, Rolls, Homemade Desserts and Beverages (Cheese Pizza always available). The cost is: adults (10-up) $5.00, children (4-9) $2.00 and children 3 and under free. Maximum family cost is $20.00. Reservations/cancellations must be made by noon on Monday, May 2nd. Call the church office to make reservations or complete the Wednesday Night section on the “Welcome Guest” slip and drop it in the offering plate. Make sure to write your name on the slip. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, May 5th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Disciple Now - May 6th-8th. See today’s insert. Baby Dedication is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th. If you would like to have your baby dedicated, please contact the church office. We would like to have a picture of your child, as well as their full name. TwoGreen Thumbs Garden Club Meeting - Monday, May 9th at 6:30 pm. Angelic Minister’s Meeting - Tuesday, May 10th at 7:00 pm. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, May 12th at 10:00 am in the Conference room. Relay for Life - Final meeting Thursday, May 12th at 7:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. You can still support the team by providing individually wrapped honey buns for “cure” cakes. See Robin Farrington or Holly Martin if you would like to help. T-Team Meeting - Saturday, May 14th at 9:00 am in the Conference Room.


Announcements Pastor Search Committee Meeting - Sunday, May 15th at 8:00 am. Charity Basketball Game - Knightdale UMC vs. Knightdale Baptist, Sunday, May 15th at 3:00 pm in the FLC. Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon of basketball fun, fan contests and prizes too! Admission is one canned good per person (goes to support the KUMC food pantry). Pancake Breakfast - Eastern Wake Fire and Rescue is holding a pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, May 14th from 6:00-11:00 am. The cost is $6.00 per plate - all you can eat! Station #1, 4828 Clifton Road, Knightdale. Benevolence - If you would like to make a contribution toward Benevolence to help people in our community, please write Benevolence on your contribution envelope and place it in the offering plate. The Pastor Search Committee is now accepting resumes. If you know of a good pastoral candidate please invite them to submit a resume. They can mail them or bring them by the church office. We cannot accept just names.

Sharing Session At 5:30 pm on Sunday, May 15th, there will be a sharing time sponsored by the deacons to allow individuals to express concerns related to the departure of Ronn McCracken. This is a time to express those concerns and any pain as a learning experience for the church and a healing experience for the individuals. Dr. Charles Dorman will moderate the session.

The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms.
