Reflection Seven Y32. Academic Spread – This was
the piece that made me realize that mass communications was what I wanted to major in college so it means a lot to me. I enjoyed everything about this page and it was one that did not have as many correction edits on copy as the others.
Y6. Personality Profile – I think
the story of Liz and Hector make these students three dimensional. It shows an interesting side of students the rest of the school does not see since they are gone half the day. To me it was an interesting piece sharing the goals of some outstanding kids.
Y2. Sports Reporting – Golf was in
interesting sport to do this year. I didn’t know anything until I asked the coach a ton of questions the first day. When I first turned in body copy I was re-subbed, but I talked to my editor about what she wanted and I wasn’t re-subbed again throughout the grading process. I like this story and believe it does take the reader back into the season.
