Clubb ’14 Accepted into Prestigious Archcore40 Summer Dance Program Bolles alumnus Bethany Clubb ’14, a dance major at the University of South Florida, has been accepted into the prestigious Archcore40, a one-week dance intensive directed by world renowned choreographer Jennifer Archibald. Archibald was a guest artist for the Bolles Dance Company in 2011. The Archcore40 program has a contemporary and hip hop focus for the advanced, dedicated and disciplined student. The program is designed to provide young dancers with the knowledge and technical skills for a successful transition into a professional career. Only 40 dancers are selected to attend the program.
Katelyn Henderson was married to Chris Register on September 4, 2015, at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Katelyn is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is employed by Mayo Clinic as a clinical research coordination. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Mercyhurst University. He is employed by Stanton Riverbank Rowing as Program Director, and is Vice Principal at Heart to Heart Christian Academy. Katelyn and Chris live in Jacksonville. Alexandra Morrison ’09, marketing coordinator with Jimerson & Cobb, P.A., joined firm colleagues, including Adam Edgecomb ’98, on the Bolles campus this spring to hear Peak Perspective speaker and “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker. 2010 Class Representative: Morgan O’Hare mohareaffair@gmail.com Class Representative: William Hartje william.hartje@gmail.com Hunter Rhyne ’10 starred in a short film entry in Orlando’s 48 Hour Film Project last summer, earning best actor accolades in the competition. The film, “Wake Up”, also earned best direction and best cinematography and earned entry into Filmapalooza in Atlanta March 2–5, 2016. The event screened the best films from the 48 Hour Film Project, the world’s largest timed film-making competition including entries from 128 cities from around the world.
“Ms. Blackledge inspired me to pursue a professional dance career, and she also provided me an opportunity to work with guest artists such as Jennifer Archibald and Michael Foley,” Clubb said. “Both of these artists are highly respected within the dance industry.” Archcore40 will be held in New York City at Barnard College of Columbia University from July 3–8, 2016.
