Jones ’90 Inducted into Georgia Hall of Fame, Joins Braves as Special Assistant Paul Sollee ’88 Paul Sollee has been named Chief Technology Officer at Bolles. Not only does he know the School as an alumnus, he has been a valuable leader at Bolles for 22 years. In addition, he has over 10 years of teaching experience and is passionate about the classroom learning environment. Paul holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree, both from the University of Florida. In his recent role as Director of Technology at Bolles, he has been intimately involved with the many technology upgrades and understands the vital role technology plays within our institution. He also adds great perspective and understanding of our community’s technology needs as the parent of current students. 1989 Class Representative: M. During this time she has earned four degrees: a bachelor’s in Exercise Science, a master’s in Exercise Physiology/Nutrition, a master’s in Organismal Biology and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Ecology. Currently, Jenn works for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as a researcher specializing in invasive species, ecophysiology, and taxonomy in the Freshwater Invertebrate Resource and Research Assessment Unit in Gainesville, Florida. 56 | alumni |

Chipper Jones ’90 was inducted into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame on February 27, 2016 in a ceremony at the Macon City Auditorium. The retired Major League Baseball star played his entire career with the Atlanta Braves. Among Jones’ many accomplishments, the first pick of the 1990 Major League draft earned eight All-Star appearances, was named the 1999 National League MVP, helped the Braves to the 1995 World Series title and won the 2008 National League batting title. He is the only switch-hitter in MLB history to record a lifetime batting average over .300 with at least 300 home runs. His career MLB totals include 2,726 hits, 468 home runs, and 1,623 RBI. Jones was inducted into the FHSAA Hall of Fame in 2012, Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame in 2013 and honored with a jersey number retirement ceremony at Bolles in 2014. Jones was also recently hired as a special assistant to baseball operations by the Atlanta Braves. His primary focus during the regular season is helping Braves hitters and he worked as an instructor in spring training. He also assisted with amateur scouting leading up to the June draft, as well as some minor league player evaluation and instruction.
