Lynn Hallowes Thorman and wife, Susan, live in Maryland with their two daughters, Samantha and Sarah. Samantha graduates from high school this May and received a scholarship to play lacrosse at Coastal Carolina University. Sarah is finishing up eighth grade and plays a variety of sports: lacrosse, field hockey and basketball. Lynn is a respiratory therapist and Susan is an engineer. They keep busy with their girls’ athletic schedules, fixing up homes, and four cats and two dogs.
Cathleen Brooke Dunkle with her family Cathleen Brooke Dunkle and her husband, Kurt, are living in New York City. Kurt is the Dean and President of General Theological Seminary. Daughter Caroline is Assistant Vice President at C1 Bank in St. Petersburg, Florida. Daughter Maddie graduated in May from Wofford College, and will be teaching English in Madrid, Spain for a year.
Jeannie Van Valkenburgh Borsch and husband, Ben, live in Tampa with their eight-year-old daughter, Emily. With an eight-year-old, Jeannie is busy driving carpools to karate, choir and other after school activities. Becky Davis McKee with her family Becky Davis McKee and husband, Will, live in Cashiers, North Carolina, where they own The High Hampton Inn. The Inn is in its 94th season and they have enjoyed seeing many Bartram and Bolles alumni visit the Inn over the years. They have two daughters, Rebecca and Liz. Rebecca is working for Penn State University and the US Geological Survey tracking endangered desert tortoises in the Mojave Desert. Liz graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May and will be teaching English for a year in Prague before going to law school. Leslie Ferguson Moeini and husband, AJ, are empty-nesters in Jacksonville. Leslie has ventured back into pharmaceutical sales, working for AstraZeneca. AJ is a 16-year veteran in the mortgage industry working as a loan officer. Daughter Ainslie, 22, just graduated from UNF with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and a minor in French Art. She is looking for marketing and advertising opportunities throughout the Southeast. Arman, 23, is a second-year law student at UF and will be interning this summer for a law firm in West Palm Beach. Kathy Stark is nearing completion of the elements of her project, “The Wilderness of North Florida’s Parks,” resulting in a family friendly book and traveling art exhibit. A unique blend of art and education about our wilderness parks within one hour of downtown Jacksonville, follow the project on the Facebook page: The Wilderness of North Florida’s Parks.
