I absolutely love being a MiMi!! Both sons, Justin and Jordan, live in the same neighborhood and have a Collision Center in the suburbs of Atlanta. I am living in Vero Beach with my ex-husband. How life revolves...lol. I am a domestic engineer…in other words, not working…lol. While living in Atlanta for over two years, before moving back, I worked as an administrative assistant for a non-profit (ARC) with the developmentally disabled. The most humbling and rewarding job ever ever!!! I am looking to volunteer here in town for the ARC.” Della Murchison lives in Austin, Texas and will soon be relocating from Lake Travis to another area nearby. She has one son in college and has a sweet boyfriend. “I retired from work at the State of Texas Employees Retirement System and now have fun jobs helping people downsize and having a Craigslist business. I sell ‘Young Living’ essential oils.” Barbara Arnold Pickett writes, “I’m thrilled to have become a grandmother on August 18, 2015, to Charles Henry Bentley (Chase), born to my daughter Caroline and her husband, Thomas. Caroline, 29, is a kindergarten teacher at RPDS. My son Ted, 25, is working for Catering by Liz and part-time at St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School helping prepare lunches. I’m still in the residential mortgage field as a sales assistant at BBVA Compass. I’m lucky to live in Jacksonville near my children and mother, Bobby Arnold ’48, who is very active, especially with Memorial Park Association. Both my sisters, Liz Arnold ’76 and Christina Cross ’71 are living in Maryland.

18, graduates in June from Stanton College Prep and will be attending University of Miami this fall. Bryant, 15, is finishing his tenth grade year at Paxon. Bryant and Zach O’Brien (Eileen’s son) have played on the same soccer team for many years, so Susan and Eileen see a lot of each other at games and tournaments.

Sarah Dever Reed and husband, Jim, live in Kansas City, Missouri, where they just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. Sarah is currently working with artists in researching and writing their profiles for “internet art curating” and Jim works at a local investment firm. They have two sons, Alec and Doc. Alec, 23, decided to get his Physics degree after he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Doc is a sophomore at Missouri majoring in Finance and Business. Jana Newton Roper and husband, David, live in Greensboro, Georgia. Jana sings in the choir, teaches Pilates and is involved with several volunteer groups. Their son, Allen, is a music agent living in Athens, after having worked in Los Angeles and Vermont. Camden will be a freshman at the University of Alabama this fall.
