PICNIC & GARDEN RESERVATIONS
We recommend planning ahead and booking early, due to the high demand placed on our parks. Reservations guarantee the location, date, and reservation block for your scheduled event, subject to availability. Groups with reservations have priority use over drop-in users. A fee is required to reserve a facility. Fees vary according to event needs and/or the facility. Reservations for the following park shelters and picnic sites are accepted up to 11 months (12:01 a.m. on the 1st day of the 11th month) in advance for use from the 2nd Saturday in April through the 2nd Sunday in October. Each site varies in capacity and surrounding attractions: • Borah Park Shelter • Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park Shelter & Picnic Sites • Camel’s Back Picnic Site • Phillippi Park Shelter • Cassia Park Shelter • Quarry View Park Shelter • Ivywild Park Shelter • Winstead Park Shelter • Marianne Williams Shelter & Gazebo Reservations for the Ann Morrison Shelter, Esther Simplot Pavilions & Pier, Julia Davis Gene Harris Bandshell, Pavillions, Veterans Memorial Park Shelter and Picnic Site are accepted beginning on the 1st day (12:01 a.m.) of January for use from the 2nd Saturday in April through the 2nd Sunday in October. GARDEN SITES: WEDDINGS & CEREMONIES
Celebrate your special moment at one of our beautiful park sites! Surround yourself with dozens of rose bushes in the Julia Davis Rose Garden or enjoy the tranquility of the natural setting of Kathryn Albertson Park, Marianne Williams Gazebo, or Esther Simplot Friendship Island. Julia Davis Rose Garden, Esther Simplot Friendship Island and Kathryn Albertson Park Gazebos are restricted to formal ceremonies only. Receptions are not permitted at these sites. Up to 10 chairs may be hand carried in and out of each location. Julia Davis Rose Garden and Esther Simplot Friendship Island reservations are accepted beginning on the 1st day (12:01 a.m.) of January for use from the 2nd Saturday in April through the 2nd Sunday in October. Marianne Williams Gazebo and Kathryn Albertson Park Gazebos can be reserved up to 11 months (12:01 a.m. on the 1st day of the 11th month) in advance of your special day for use from the 2nd Saturday in April through the 2nd Sunday in October. Gazebos include the Eyrie and the Rookery.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
A $15.00 processing fee is charged for reservation cancellations made at least seven (7) business days prior to event date. Refunds are not issued when cancelling within seven (7) business days of the event. Conflicts for park use related problems, may result in a refund if verified by Boise Parks and Recreation’s (BPR) on-call staff. Refunds or rescheduling are not granted due to adverse weather conditions or acts of nature. A $5.00 processing fee may be charged to change the date or location on all confirmed reservations. Rescheduling cannot be made less than seven (7) business days prior to the event.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The Gene Harris Bandshell, Boise River Greenbelt, and many other park sites are available for walks, runs, festivals, concerts and other special events. Special events are those that are open to the public and advertised. Special events require a Special Event Application and proposal due to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 45 days prior to your event; 90 days for events which include beer/wine sales, but no earlier than one year prior to the event.
