COOL CARNIVORES (ENTERING GRADES 2ND-7TH)
How do we keep our carnivores cool at the zoo? Popsicles! It is a bit more complicated than that, so don’t miss this week of exploring what it means to be a carnivore, create popsicle enrichments, perform bite test comparisons, and get to the meat of how you can help protect these cool creatures. The focus animals will be those that eat a carnivorous diet like snakes, and frogs, but also those that belong to the mammal taxonomic order Carnivora like lions, maned wolves, and red pandas.
