TOUR OF THE RESERVES
Beginner to expert birders welcome, free program at the Foothills Learning Center every 1st Wednesday. Classes are free but registration is required. July 6 date will be a field trip to Bogus Basin. We will meet at FLC to carpool at 6AM.
Get to know your backyard as the Foothills Learning Center and Idaho Conservation League team up to offer these short hiking “tours” of the city-owned natural reserves.
IDAH2O MASTER WATER STEWARD WORKSHOP
Create beautiful and unique artwork at Boise WaterShed! Classes are taught by a team of artists and experts who explore a topic, then instruct you in an art method to create a one-ofa-kind piece of art. Registration is required, $15 per person. Light refreshments provided. Class descriptions found at boisewatershed.org.
Offered twice: Saturday, May 14 and Friday, July 22, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Boise WaterShed. The IDAH2O program trains community volunteers to monitor water quality in local streams. The workshop includes a 3-hour asynchronous pre-class virtual session and a 4-hour hands-on field session in the stream. Learn about habitat, biological, chemical and physical stream assessments.
