This guidebook was published by the Korea Tourism Organization to welcome tourists from Asia and the Middle East.
This guidebook provides information on restaurants(five categories), prayer rooms, and tourist information centers in Korea Top20 tourist spots visited by foreigners.
The spots were selected in consideration of the preferences of tourists in the Middle East and Asia through the ‘2019 International Visitor Survey’ (by Korea Tourism Organization) and ‘2021 KT Communication Data Analysis’.
For user convenience, the guidebook uses pictograms to depict restaurant information.
Following is an example of the pictograms used in this guidebook.

② Pork-Free Food: Restaurants that do not use pork on their main menu.
③ Beef-Free Food: Restaurants that do not use beef on their main menu.
④ Vegetarian Food: Restaurants that specialize in vegetarian food without meat and poultry (use dairy products, fish, shellfish) on their main menu.
⑤ Seafood: Restaurants that uses only seafood without meat and poultry on their main menu.

Seoul is the capital of Korea and is the heart of Korea’s culture and education as well as politics and economy. Seoul is home to many historic sites and places of traditional culture. The shopping and entertainment districts also draw a large number of tourists every year. The Hangang River, which runs through the center of the city, is a distinctive landscape of Seoul that offers a myriad of resting areas for citizens.

Lotte World Adventure is a major recreation complex located in downtown Seoul. It consists of Indoor Adventure, the world's largest indoor theme park, an outdoor theme park called Magic Island, a luxury hotel, the Korean Folk Museum, shopping malls, department stores, sports facilities and a movie theater, all in one place. Magic Island, the outdoor theme park of Lotte World, is an artificial island located in the middle of Seokchon Lake and boasts 17 different rides including the high-altitude free-fall thrill ride, the Gyro Drop.
Myeong-dong is one of the primary shopping districts in Seoul. Many brand name shops and department stores line the streets and alleys. Common products for sale include clothes, shoes, and accessories. In addition, several major department stores have branches here, including Lotte Department Store, Myeong-dong Migliore, Noon Square and M Plaza.
Seoul Namsan Park opened in 1968 as a public park and went through renovation in 1991 to better serve the public as a nature-friendly rest area in the middle of the city. Also, Namsan Seoul Tower is located in the park. For the past 40 years, Namsan Seoul Tower has served as an iconic landmark of Korea and a representative tourist attraction.
Dongdaemun Fashion Town is the largest fashion district in Korea, with both wholesale shops shipping clothing across the country and individual shops and cultural spaces for individual visitors to enjoy. The surrounding area has also been revitalized through the positive ripple effects brought about by events and performances organized by the shops and malls in the town.
Cheong Wa Dae is the former residence of Korean presidents. Approximately 150 thousand blue tiles compose the roof of the Main Office. Each tile was baked individually to make them strong enough to last for hundreds of years. The blue tiles and the smoothly curving roofline blend beautifully with Bugaksan Mountain in the backdrop.
Hongdae is a neighborhood known for its youthful ambience, with shops selling everything from clothing and cosmetics to living goods and books, as well as unique cafés and restaurants. The streets are also filled with buskers and dance performances, making a walk here quite entertaining. Special streets such as Picasso’s Street, and Club Street are also must-go places for anyone hoping to fully experience the Hongdae area.

Suwon was one of four main regional government centers during the Joseon dynasty. Hwaseong Fortress, built to protect the city, was designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site on December 12, 1997 for its historical value. The fortress, constructed from 1794 to 1796, was built as a display of King Jeongjo’s filial piety towards his father and to build a new pioneer city with its own economic power.
Everland Resort entertains visitors through attractions in the five themed areas of Global Fair, American Adventure, Magic Land, Zootopia, and European Adventure. The amusement park is decorated according to different themed festivals throughout the year, including Tulip Festival, Rose Festival, Summer Splash, Halloween Festival, and more. One of the park’s most famous rides is T-Express, Korea’s first wooden roller coaster, popular among young visitors.
Odusan Unification Observatory was established to console the feelings of dispersed families and provide an educational site for the unification education in 1992. The observatory is situated in the northernmost ceasefire line of the western front where the Hangang River and Imjingang River meet. It offers a wide view of Songaksan Mountain in Gaeseong to the north and 63 Building in Seoul to the south.

Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 kilometers long, over a 30- to 50-meter wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making it perfect for swimming.

Bulguksa Temple is a representative relic of Buddhist culture from the Silla kingdom. The temple was built during the 15th year of King Beopheung's reign (514-540) to wish for peace and prosperity for all. Unfortunately, the temple caught fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Starting in 1920, the temple has undergone continual restoration work. The temple now holds seven national treasures and a number of additional important heritages

Hundreds of Hanok, Korean traditional houses, were built here, forming a village. You can see various traditional cultures related to food, clothing, and shelter, and architectural styles. There are various food and tourist product stores in every alley. You can rent and wear a hanbok, walk around, and take pretty pictures.
Odongdo Island is famous for colonies of camellia found on the island. In addition to the camellias, there are 70 species of wildflowers and 200 species of evergreen trees that flourish here. The island is known to be most beautiful in mid-March when the camellias are at its peak. To get to the island, it takes around 10 minutes by car from Yeosu downtown.
The reed fields in Suncheonman Bay are thickly covered with reeds taller than a full-grown man. The scene of the entire field swaying in the wind is like watching waves on the sea. Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve is a natural habitat for birds of over 140 species, including migratory and endangered bird species such as the hooded crane, Oriental White Stork, black-faced spoonbill, Eurasian Oystercatcher as well as birds designated as natural treasures.
