Welcome to the sale FROM BOHRSON MARKETING

On behalf of the Snider and Stoddard families, we are pleased to welcome you all to the Canadian Made online bull sale. This unique sale offering features the top cut of bulls from two great operations representing two provinces. The Snider’s Cattle Services program is located in Viking, AB and their 8 bulls are located at the Snider farm. Todd Simmentals is located near Shefford, Quebec and the 11 bulls they have for sale can be viewed at Kirk Stoddards farm.

Darryl & Deb and the boys are proud of their small in numbers, high in quality cow herd, and rightfully so. The fundamentals they have heavily focused on is so evident as you view the strong cows backing their sale offering. Docility, feet, udders and fleshing ability are at the fore front of criteria and as you analyze their section of sale bulls, you will see the the big volume, soft made, sound structured attributes the powerful cows have relayed into their sons. These bulls will go on and do the same for you and give you a set of calves that will pound the scale down come weaning and put the extra change in your pockets once they hit the auction mart. If keeping replacement females is also a top priority, be rest assured these bulls will leave you the top of daughters you’ll wish you had more of.

Kirk, Alexis and Ray have taken the Todd Simmentals program to great heights and have certainly elevated it to one of the most respected operations in the country. They annually host one of the strongest female sales in eastern Canada where folks from many different provinces look to them to source elite females to build off of. This is your opportunity to get in on the brothers to the great females that make up the Quebec Elite each year. The bulls on offer are backed by exciting ai sires and big time walking herd sires such as WSF Abel. These bulls carry different twists on pedigree but still remain the sound, powerful beef bulls you have come to expect from the Todd program. Bulls with added length, depth and overall dimension will be found in their section.

We encourage you to reach out to Darryl and Kirk to discuss the bulls on offer. We really want to again bring it to your attention the location of each of these programs and where the bulls are developed. The Snider bulls in Alberta and the Todd bulls in Quebec. Look to the front inside cover to read up on the delivery options. As Debbie and I sit down to write my welcome to the new Canadian Made Bull Sale, with my friend Kirk Stoddard from TODD Simmentals, I was thinking about how the last year has been for all of us in the cattle industry. We’ve seen some excellent prices across Canada at the feeder level in the commercial industry. The bulls we have selected from TODD Simmentals, Snider’s Cattle Service, OJ Farms (Owen Snider) and Little Man’s Herd (Cooper Snider) are carrying the traits we believe will help your herd reach its full potential when it comes to structure, weight gain and producing some outstanding seedstock. These bulls will make those top end calves come Fall.

The bulls we are offering this year all come out of our walking Herdsire, WSF Redwood 23G. This bull has done an amazing job on our dams here at Snider’s Cattle Service. He is a deep, dark red that borders on almost a black shade in the right light and makes calving a breeze. Redwood calves hit the ground quick and are vigorously up and sucking in about 20 minutes. The growth on these calves is unbelievable, our weaning weights prove we are on the right track with his genetics.

This is a sale we are excited to start with Kirk and his family, because we share the same vision of making the Simmental breed work for our customers and neighbours. If you have any questions about our bulls, please reach out, and if you happen to be in the area, stop in for a coffee and a look at the bulls.
