She has had two top bulls sell through our bull sale and has a daughter in our herd as well. Her dam was an elite dam with 15 natural calves averaging a 109 weaning index. She raised a 743 lb WW bull calf last year at 15 years of age, and was still very sound kept with a great udder. 316S is a direct daughter of Red Towaw Indeed 104H, a sire that could fill this page with accolades. His daughters have been show champions, sale toppers and best of all producing pasture cows. His sons have topped sales, and have continued his influence across North America and the world. When his semen comes up for sale it sells between $800 and $1200 per straw. If there was a book written about the most influential sires of the Red Angus breed we think Indeed would definitely have a chapter. Due to the fact that we calve later than most operations,late May to late July, we have left Star 316S open and ready to flush. We will retain her bull calf for our bull sale and work with the new owner to take care of said calf until he is weaned. We haven’t let many of these Indeed daughters go in the past, but we feel that 316S has a bright future as a donor cow and Red Roundup is the best place in the world to showcase Elite Red Angus Genetics.
