Frames Gas Treatment products cover all segments. We deliver solutions from our Frames product family. Our portfolio includes specialized equipment for onshore, offshore (fixed platforms) and floater (FPU, FPSO or FLNG) projects, and we provide innovative solutions for specific challenges. We can help you protect downstream equipment from corrosion or other damage by removing contaminants such as free liquids, hydrocarbons and corrosive components, including sulfur and carbon dioxide. We can help you separate valuable and marketable components using fractionation or condensate stabilization. We have extensive knowledge in designing and producing high-quality shell and tube heat exchangers and air-cooled coolers. In addition, we supply high-efficiency gas scrubbers and filters to the offshore and onshore gas market. LTS Package
Hydrate Inhibition Due to the combination of low temperatures and high pressure levels, hydrate formation is likely to occur in several types of gas streams. Frames has a long track record in the prevention of hydrate formation. To this end, costly chemicals called hydrate inhibitors are introduced into the production flow. The combination of field experience and process simulation enables us to select the most suitable inhibitor and determine the required amounts to be injected. Commonly applied inhibitors include monoethylene glycol (MEG), diethylene glycol (DEG) and methanol (MeOH). After having served their purpose, the valuable inhibitors are reused. Various methods are available for recovering the inhibitors, depending on the specific chemical used and the amount of water and/or salts expected.

Light Hydrocarbon Recovery Hydrocarbon liquids originating from the treatment of natural gas streams were once considered a waste byproduct stream and were consequently flared off. However, modern operating companies have become more aware of the environmental and commercial benefits of treating this byproduct stream. Depending on the stream properties, Frames is able to offer two technologies for the recovery of these valuable byproducts: condensate stabilization and fractionation.
Condensate Stabilization Skid
Fuel Gas Treatment Fuel gas conditioning systems are used for the treatment of raw production gas. They are designed to deliver clean, treated gas, which is necessary for gas-driven equipment such as turbines and generators. The treated gas can also be used as seal gas, blanketing gas or utility gas. Fuel gas conditioning systems are commonly referred to as fuel gas skids, fuel gas systems or fuel gas filtration and heating packages.
